:goodposting:Peter already absorbed Sylar's powers when he saved Claire. That is where he got the telekinesis. He even mentioned that that was where he got the power from to the invisible guy when he bent back the pole during his "training."Also, as others mentioned, it looks to me like Mohinder hit Sylar with the blackboard. Peter already had the glass in his head at that point.Not sure what Peter was trying to do, but I think he probably turned around to get away from the glass. I thought that was pretty weak. When Sylar was just standing there with the glass, Peter could have stayed invisible and pummelled Sylar with all kinds of crap in the apartment.

I would not think being invisible would be an advantage for peter. Sylar could hear every move he made since he has taken the super hearing from the mechanic girl. My view was Peter was standing still and Sylar pegged him as soon as he heard him move.
 
Awesome. X-Men meets The Matrix. Peter was very Neo-esque. I wish they would have shown some of that battle.

ETA: So Sylar got DL's power, as well as the shape shifter. Wonder if he had Micah's too?

What happened at the end of the show? Did Hiro and Ando teleport out of the future? The last thing I saw was Ando trying to convince Hiro to leave.

I don't think we need to use spoiler tags... if people haven't watched the show yet tonight, they shouldn't be looking at the thread right now IMO.Anyway, in the current timeline, Sylar was not killed. As was mentioned in tonight's episode, Peter was the bomb, but Sylar was given the blame in order to protect Peter.

In a different timeline, Sylar killed Claire and became the bomb (and presumably survived via the regeneration power he gained from Claire).

:goodposting: We watched this real-time and now I'm watching 24 on DVR. I'm a 24 mega-fan, but going from Heroes and how awesome that show is right now to 24 is like watching The Usual Suspects and then flipping over to Weekend at Bernie's...the 2nd one.
 
I wish they would go a little more in depth with the fight scenes. I was expecting a matrix-like showdown in the lobby of that building.

the deal that Bennett and Parker had would be to give the "dangerous" people with powers to the government so they can let the safe ones live.i would say that sylar personally meets with the dangerous ones to gain there powersi dont think this would include micah because peter told nikki that he was the one that killed all those people, including micah

I think now we know why Sylar's picture of Pertelli as president looks different than Issac's. In Issac's, he saw petrelli. Sylar saw himself.

Just conjecture, but my take is.....In the "Sylar is the bomb" timeline, Hiro never meets memory chick and therefore never loses confidence in his powers and being a hero. Therefore he attacked Sylar and stabbed him when given the chance, but since Sylar had Claire's powers he healed and is alive in that timeline.

In the "Peter is the bomb" timeline, they saved Claire but since Hiro lost his confidence he didn't attack Sylar when given the chance. Therefore, Sylar was alive and became the president.

So two things have to happen to stop the bomb, A) Save the cheerleader, and B) Hiro needs to "be a hero".

At this point, Sylar is not the bomb, so killing sylar does not stop the bomb. Unless the reason peter goes off is in a fight with sylar, then sylar is not part of the bomb issue anymore.At the moment peter is still not the bomb. He has not come into contact with the radioctive caveman. Both Hiros (present and future) have no knowldge of this guy, or hiro could have gone back through the timeline to stop him. Only Parkman, Claire, The Hatian, and HRG know about bomb guy (as well as the Linderman group).So the next 3 weeks have to have a few things happen:1) The caveman and Peter must meet2) Nathan wins his election (the micah/Jessica story)3) Hiro meets SylarNot to mention every other curveball and loose end needs to be solved.

I think you are wrong. Save The Cheerleader, Save The World was Hiro's assumption from the timeline because the whole world was told Sylar was the reason for the bomb. So basically saving the cheerleader has nothing to do with the bomb. Now they can kill Sylar but Peter can still explode. Also, Sylar was given the blame not to protect Peter but because Sylar took over Nathan's identity thus hiding his own.

From the previews, is the new hero (Molly, the little girl, the only one who can kill Sylar), the same girl Sylar was trying to get from the police station?

same thing happened to me. make sure you change it to record an extra 3 mins just in case!
