To be honest, I thought you were crazy too.  I thought Sanders was the better candidate for the Democrats, but I always assumed that Hillary would beat Trump comfortably.  Too bad for all of us that I was wrong and you were right.

Hillary is not the one that is vocally and clearly aligning herself with Putin.  Had Manafort as his lead advisor for a while.  And I get the feeling 99% of you have no idea how "pay to play" even works. Cause y'all make it sound so clean and simple. Please.

I generally agree that Podesta seems like a good guy but what emails were there to dump?  Hillary's team stated they turned over all work related emails in December, if we are to believe Podesta wanted additional emails released doesn't that also cause a problem for Hillary's team seeing how they stated everything was already turned over?

Well. That's a remarkably different tone than the other day. That took all of 48 hours to go from sad, regretful, depressed Hillary fan to angry, defensive, defiant Hillary fan. I feel like the earth is spinning back on its axis again. 

And it still is your fault and the fault of others who deliberately avoided the obvious. She jeopardized this country when Bernie or even any garden variety democrat without the baggage she has would have wiped Trump's and given him a rash to boot.  She may still hang on but if she doesn't, it's on you and others who refused to see the writing on the wall.

This election was going to be much more comfortable as "Unregulated Tax Cheating Nepotism/Capitalism vs. Idealistic Scandal-free Democratic Socialism" than "Outsider Insane Businessman vs. Corrupt Brilliant Political Insider".

The sad thing is im about to be deluged with emails  from my father in law.  It usually takes about a week for this stuff to filter to him.  so next monday is gonna be a big email day.

 
Can you guys imagine the poitical change Bernie could have moved toward when that pipeline in Alabama exploded and killed someone?  And if Bernie stood against the DPL? Because the complete silence from Clinton on that drives me nuts, even when it could help her image, shockingly.

Great, she's not aligned with Putin.  She just funds terrorism because they fund the Clinton Foundation.  But at least she has no comrades.

Perhaps I was unclear, certainly insensitive and drunk and I apologize. Bernie would have been against what's going on with pipelines and would have gotten the political clout to stop the atrocities going on, which needs to happen.  The Alabama pipeline explosion is soul-crushing from my perspective and needs someone to take a big political stand and move the American people against this sort of thing.  That's what i'd like to see.  I certainly worded that poorly.

I think black turnout could regress back to 2004 Bush-Kerry levels. If so, who knows what kind of totals Hillary will be able to put up.

Maybe she could come out with her "black Selma speech accent again"..."I ain't nowhow tired".   I'm piling on & will stop. It's fun but it reminds me of the Trump pile on.  Yes, she deserves it & so did Trump, but would be nice to keep to the facts as we know them.

i totally disagree.  this guy is programmed to see when people are trying to use him.   Business people are far more adept at this than a politician.   This guy maybe an ###, and a #### but you dont get over on him.

vocally?   cash is king dude & the Clinton foundation got mountains of it.  91.5% from foreign governments.  Let's see, about $500 million.  Hell I don't know the figure, but it's more than I make in 6 months.

That beautiful moment when Tim realizes he has wasted 2 years of his life captaining a thread that may very well not end in his desired outcome.

Take a year Tim, or 2...you're going to need it to fall back to Earth if Trump wins. If this thread has blessed you with anything, hopefully it can be a lifetime of humility that you can carry with you the rest of your days. You'll be in my thoughts.

He's a tv star and he got caught on a hot mic talking about career threatening stuff. Forget for a moment what he was saying. Any idiot who ever worked on a set knows any mic can be hot at any time. 10 years later or whatever it was used against him. Sounds pretty naive to me.

and obama got caught on a hot mic asking for time from vlad.  after his reelection he will be able to make some moves.

trump is a doosh.   and he maybe a tv star.  but he is not just a tv star.    he can read people.

:) I'm a pretty humble guy. Whatever happens my own life is good. I have a wonderful wife and two fabulous daughters, smart and beautiful, a great job, plenty of money, and a fine relationship with my father whom I adore. I wish I was healthier and in better shape, but I'm working on it. Other than that I have no complaints.

Really, if you review Podesta's emails, this entire fiasco is Hillary's fault.  She is clearly to blame for being such a poor candidate herself, and by most accounts it was the DNC/Clinton machine pushing the Trump candidacy in its infancy.

I blame Hillary, first and foremost, then the Clinton shills who had their heads buried in the sand and just regurgitated the Clinton talking points without once stopping to consider reality. Even when she gets elected, this is going to be a miserable 4 years as we go from one scandal/investigation to the next.

And the spineless Dems for not only handing her the nomination (no, not by "cheating" Bernie, but he had no legit chance from the outset) but telegraphing it in a way that no legitimate alternative could get traction in the Dem Party. A disgrace of hubris and complacency of the entitled power elite.
