Ignorance is an excuse????  Sorry, ignorance doesn't fly for every other employee, why her?  And Colin Powell did nothing similar.
In this case, ignorance is an excellent excuse, because until that IG report came out, nobody was clear about what was permitted and what wasn't, (and I don't think it's very clear now, either.) . And your last point is just wrong. Colin Powell used his own private email system. He didn't have a private server, but he probably would have if he had thought of it.

The FBI cares about Hillary saying "it was allowed" and then saying "I thought it was allowed"? I strongly doubt that.
All of her comments and actions are being looked at. As things continue to get worse for her your denial and defending her cause you to make ridiculous posts.

Things aren't getting worse for her. She's the odds on favorite to be our next President. What planet are you living on?

Don't forget your parachute, Timscho-Knievel.

Every government employee knows this then and now.  Powell used hotmail, not a personal server, when he was at home because at the time devices like blackberries did not exist.  Totally different era in technology and circumstances.

She has been the odds on favorite for a long time.  But the looming investigation is getting worse, her stories keep failing apart and Trump seems to be even with her in the polls.  So yes, things are getting worse.

Not to mention she hasn't even locked up the Democratic nomination yet. :lmao:

At least Mr. Ham has the guts to say that Hillary WILL be indicted. He refuses to bet on it, but at least he has the guts to say it. The rest of you jokers won't even go that far. You'll hint at it, hope at it, make meaningless comments like BeaverCleaver just did- "whatever happens, this is serious!" Why don't you guys have the guts to post that she'll be indicted?? Because you know deep down that she won't be, that this is all a sham? That's my guess.

Let me tell you why this isn't serious and why it doesn't matter: because unless Hillary is indicted, she's going to win in November and be our next President. This "story" will not prevent her from doing so.

So Hillary is innocent because Colin Powell would have committed the same crime if he had thought of committing the same crime? Wow that is a doozie.

You aren't kidding those Freedom of Information act regulations read like VCR instructions!

Went to a party last night with a dozen people and guess what none of them cared about?

I'll bet Scho.

I'll pay Scho $100 if Hillary becomes president.
Scho pays me $150 if anyone else becomes president.

I looked at a few sites and Hillary was a tad over 1/2. So this is fair.

Hillaries clean energy superpower plan?  Oh oh I know her fake plan to revitalize coal country?  If I had another guess I would throw out another half baked idea of Clintons but I can't think of one that she actually came up with and didn't steal from Donald or Bernie.

I don't wager on who's going to be President. Too serious an issue for me. I think Hillary is a strong favorite, but I won't bet on it.

HOWEVER- if you want to bet on whether or not Hillary will be indicted, I'm your Huckleberry. I'll give you 4-1 odds.

No worries on my offer.

I don't think she will be indicted.  She risked the security of the USA.  All the other crap/excuses don't matter.  Anyone that would remotely think this is fine for any reason can not and should not be POTUS.

I don't buy for one second any of her excuses.  I posted a youtube twice earlier of her here at a news conference where she talks about clearly understanding internet and email security risks.

Because people won't make a prediction they are gutless and jokers?  It is a closed-lip FBI investigation with huge implications and a Justice Department which is controlled by someone who was appointed by Hillary's husband.  Nobody can say what will or will not happen with any certainty.  You would be a joker if you think you can.

It doesn't make any difference. If I had to guess, she says to one or more of her assistants, "Can I just use my own emails? Colin Powell did it, right? Isn't that allowed?" and the assistant said, "I don't see why not." And I doubt there was ever another conversation until 2015.
Except we now know for a fact that there were other conversations about it.  And we know that she/her staff were explicitly told that it wasn't allowed.

And, you know, the fact that she lied from the start when she categorically stated "it was allowed".  You might be able to use your proposed defense if she had said what you did from day one.  But that's not what she's done.  Instead, she's changed her story a half dozen times, in an attempt to fit each new fact that comes out.

I don't get why you're trying so hard to defend her from the obvious (that she knew it was wrong, did it anyway, and has been trying to cover it up ever since).  It's not like that fact changes your vote against Trump; you're still voting Hillary even if she's in jail, right?

Only people I really care care are the agents at the FBI building the case.

Incidentally, fascinating transition in this thread from, "She did nothing wrong," to "She didn't knowingly commit a crime," to, "Yeah, but who really cares?  I went to a party and no one there did."  Mass denial.

I have no idea if she will be indicted.  I am 100% positive that she should be, but I suspect that it may not happen and that politics will get in the way.

As to whether it matters, you're correct in terms of the election.  Short of indictment, she'll win anyway, because most voters are already set on voting D or R, or, like you, would just prefer to be willfully ignorant, such that they don't care if Hillary murdered someone (especially if the alternative is Trump).

But you're wrong in the greater scheme of things.  It does matter, because we should expect and demand more out of our public officials.  We're literally now at the point where we're no longer debating whether the presumptive Democratic nominee broke laws and tried to cover it up, but are instead now trying to determine exactly how many laws she broke, and which ones the FBI or other organizations can prove she broke intentionally.  That anyone believes this is an OK state of affairs is mind-boggling.

Tim's journey this election season reminds me of the movie Falling Down. Tim starts out as the SJW righting the wrongs of society and backing Clinton only to realize at the end he and Hillary have been the bad guys all along.
