I disappear from the news world on the 1st of each month, and I'm never a watcher on 24 hour news anyway so what are you guys hearing, reading as the expectations for tonight.  Taking wild guesses at the vote margins  against the delegate counts here and ignoring how Excel allocated rounding error makes it a plus 54 night for Hillary.  How off is that from the media?  I'd guess they are speculating around an even 100 point lead so I guess I'm off around 11.  About right?  Way off?

Oh, for reference my wild guesses were-

  • Vermont to Sanders 85-15,  
  • Colorado, Minnesota, Oklahoma to Sanders 55-45, 
  • American Samoa, Democrats Abroad (pretended this was just 3/1), 
  • Massachusetts going 50-50, Texas and Virginia 55-45 to Hillary, 
  • Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee 60-40 to Hillary.
If I was one to bet I'd bet they are all wrong.
 

 
I'm personally really happy America got this one right and Hillary is going to be our next president (no offense to Bernie fans).  This was the right decision and I think she will do an awesome job as our next President. I think the time to completely set politics and America on its ear are coming in my lifetime, but things have been great for 8 years now.  I'm thrilled we get the status quo for at least 4 more.  Also, it's about damn time we've had a female President here.

 So the Hillary Clinton victory speech has strategically placed an African-American man, multiple African-American women. A guy in a poked dot shirt who appears to be waiving his hands in the air like he just don't care, a girl in a Burka and the kid who keeps waving the flag, who may or may not be special needs. There is a red haired guy. She has checked all the boxes but I don't see any Asians.

Sure as hell helped me get better insurance with a pre-existing condition when prior the best I could do was a junk policy with a $48k deductible for $200 a month and then 50% of the next $100k before they paid anything.

Policy is now about $500 a month but with an annual deductible is $6k.

So quit thinking about yourself and read any one of 1 million non partisan articles that demonstrate how skyrocketing costs have torpedoed the middle class.

Yes, I will quit thinking about things like getting good affordable health insurance which I couldn't before Obamacare.

Do you also have a blog too I can follow?

 
I was against Obamacare, but I do believe it has benefited the middle class since the rates of medical costs increases has slowed.

If medical costs continued at the rate of increase before Obamacare, the middle class would be paying more right now. So any objective look is that it's better. I didn't think it would be. 

 
Why do you guys even bother with Cleaver? The next post he makes that's either useful, interesting or entertaining will be his first. He bring literally nothing to the table and isn't worth anyone's time.

It's the go to move for "I have nothing intelligent to say so I'm going to be a condescending ##### and just roll the smiley guy" It's completely jumped the shark and over used in these threads. I'd like to see us treat each other with a touch more respect here with serious things like picking our next president. I don't mean it personally toward you BC either.

Conventional wisdom is that you are another alias account from a previously banned poster. Don't know if that is true but you have about 1200 posts in a very short period of time and seem to have extremely detailed knowledge of all the posters who have been here for years. Maybe you have been lurking all this time, but that seems unlikely.
