But the Clintons sure have a horseshoe up their a** when it comes to eccentric anti-trade billionaires with white working class appeal jumping into presidential races in ways never seen in any other races, don't they.

It is still an ugly picture when you break down state by state polls.  Trump pretty much has to run the table in every battle ground state and with the exception of Iowa (where he is tied) all polls have him not only behind Hillary but polling worse than where Romney was in each state against Obama four years ago.

I was really hoping Johnson would gain enough traction to make the debates but it doesn't seem plausible now.

It's well known politicians try and put out bad news on Fridays especially before a holiday weekend so it's quite interesting that the FBI put the latest updates on this when they did,

Let's keep track of what we have so far:

- Hillary lied to the FBI about having a computer in her SCIF at home. She did.

- The doors to Hillary's SCIF were not locked. People without clearance had routine access to the SCIF.

- Hillary deleted/destroyed her emails after subpoena and after the NYT story broke, heck even after her press conference.

- Hillary doesn't recall getting any briefings on how to handle classified information.

- Hillary could not recognize what was classified content.

- Hillary could not give a single example to the FBI of the actual way that a document is classified. No idea.

- Hillary said she relied on others' judgement to classify information and she did not think that as her responsibility.

- Hillary repeatedly threw away newer, updated blackberrys and would revert to older ones. There were no attempts to protect the data within.

- There were 18 devices, not one.

- Most (nearly all) of the devices or their data cards were misplaced.

- Hillary emailed the president from abroad.

- Hillary was indeed hacked. Not just eavesdropped by sigint, but hacked.

- Hillary claimed her aides were aware of her private server, they said no that's false.

- Sidney Blumenthal included classified Secret information in his emails to her. So how did it get there.

- Hillary used Bleachbit to (try to) wipe all trace of her emails off her server.

- Hillary ALSO had the Datto backup deleted.

- Hillary's team lost a LAPTOP containing all her emails.

In reply to the suspect e-mail, Clinton wrote, “Is this really from you? I was worried about opening it!” The FBI report does not indicate to which e-mail account Clinton sent her response.

At one point, Clinton aide Huma Abedin wrote to an associate indicating that Clinton was concerned about someone “hacking into her email” since Clinton had received an e-mail from a “known...associate” containing “a link to a website with pornographic material.”

While the FBI report does not state how Clinton knew the link in the suspect e-mail led to porn, it appears obvious that she clicked on the link.

There is LOTS new here. A lot of old debates have been settled.

The fact that Hillary destroyed her entire email cache, wiped the server of the data and then also wiped backups at vendors is a Big Deal. There are other new facts but that is remarkable for sure.

Ding! You get it. Congrats. She could not recognize it and did not know what it was unless it said "HEY HILLARY - YOU YEAH YOU - THIS IS CLASSIFIED!!!" on it. She also mishandled that material.

This remains to be seen.

The DOJ did not permit the FBI to investigate the Foundation or Teneo as part of what they were doing, however we do know that the FBI requested to do this TWICE. Sounds to me like the FBI very much did buy into it and wanted to investigate it.

Thousands of documents have been recovered. They will be rolled out. I'm sure crowdsourcing will be going on but we know Hillary's own DOJ will not be investigating their own president and first spouse.

I don't think someone who purposefully destroys documents and public records should be president. She will be president but that's still true.

As far as proof of corruption is concerned, let's see what she deleted - we already see Mills and Abedin wearing two hats and using public resources for private purposes at the Foundation and Teneo. Let's see what happens.

IMO if someone should have been arrested it should have been Justin Cooper and David Kendall. The negligence issue with Hillary has been discussed and I've rested on Comey's testimony as far as that is concerned.

Yet the FBI reveals that the account of a Bill Clinton personal aide on the server was hacked in 2013 and the intruder “browsed e-mail folders and files.”

The FBI also discovered she sent or received “hundreds of e-mails” marked classified or confidential outside of U.S. territory, where the danger of hacking is highest.

Mr. Blumenthal sent Mrs. Clinton at least 179 memos, some of which she then forwarded through the bureaucracy after having his name excised. Twenty-four of these dispatches were so sensitive that State later classified them.

In other words, Mrs. Clinton kept a man banned by her boss on the family foundation payroll, then used Mr. Blumenthal as an off-the-official-books counselor whose memos she spread around State after disguising their provenance. She conned Mr. Obama too.

The FBI documents also suggest Mrs. Clinton’s server was a deliberate effort to evade accountability.

Former Secretary of State Colin Powell told Mrs. Clinton in 2009 that her communications were “official records and subject to the law.”

State Executive Secretary Stephen Mull also informed Cheryl Mills that a State-issued Blackberry “would be subject to FOIA requests.”

He was working for her, but not in the capacity you claim, IMO, that it was some sort of end run on the State Dept. He did have a actual job for the Foundation, so he was working for her in that sense. He is also personal friends with Hillary and gave his opinion and takes on various things, as he had done for years previously and I would imagine he is still doing that.  

You have been trying to take down Hillary with the Blumenthal connection for over a year, but that dog don't hunt as far as the general public and voters are concerned.

The capacity he was working for her is the point. The address - which means White House Executive Personnel - clearly meant that capacity was official.

He sent her 127 advisory memoranda, 24 of which were classified.

Those aren't yoga routines, birthday greetings, condolences, or hihowareya emails. That's work, and I would really like to hear from you how classified intelligence memos in particular had anything to do with the Foundation.

The Clintons used to pay him. First at the WH, then at the campaigns.

Then Pres. Obama would not let Hillary hire him at the WH.

Then he was paid by the Foundation while doing real work for Hillary with a faux WH email address.

Now supposedly he will work in the Clinton II WH.

They have always paid him.

With a few exceptions State Dept personnel had no idea Hillary was using a private server because when they received her emails it only showed the letter "H" and no email address, URL or extension was shown.

- FBI notes, p. 10.

- Hillary did not participate in the determination of what were work related emails. She had no involvement in the terms used or the process. Hillary did not read or review any of the emails before they were selected and she did not look at them after.

- Hillary's legal team did maintain an electronic copy of the emails they retained. It was a pst. The FBI seized it and determined it contained 52 email files which were not turned over to State.

- Hillary first handed everything over to Samuelson. This was the process Samuelson used:

  • She created a separate folder and moved in what she thought relevant.
  • She included anything from gov and mil adds.
  • She included State senior leadership (seems repetitive of the above).
  • She included members of Congress, foreign leaders and their official contacts.
  • She included terms Afghanistan, Libya and Benghazi.
  • She did not review any email content so she had no idea if they were work or personal related.
  • She printed the emails and created a pst of the folder which she gave to Kendall.
- Wow, the FBI was NOT ALLOWED access to the full list of keyword terms and names used by Hillary because of a claim of privilege. That's unbelievable.

Hillary told the FBI that she emailed with Powell on 1/23/09. Powell told her that any emails would be "official records and subject to the law." And Hillary told the FBI that her email conversation with Powell did not factor into her decision to use private email. Hillary made no mention whatsoever of any dinner conversation.

Powell's secretary did not lie, Powell and Hillary had a dinner conversation in June 2009, but not about emails. The conversation about emails was by email in January 2009.

Well apparently the day after Lazar aka Guccifer hacked Blumenthal, again two more days within the same week, there were attempts from IP addresses (multiple) from the Ukraine and Russia to scan Hillary's server. However none of these attempts were successful.

However the same section states that Hillary clicked on a link that connected her to porn. And an analysis of the link indicated it was infected and linked to three different servers in Russia. So it sure sounds like she was hacked by phishing.

Then "Under Potential; Loss of Classified Information" which deals with cyber intrusion by foreign nations two whole paragraphs are redacted.

Then there are the discussions about Lazar.

Then FBI enters a discussion about thread and message ID cyber analysis of all of Hillary's emails. Then there are 15 wholly redacted pages.

 
Just because she acted in a way that one might lose their clearance and job if she were a regular State or DoD employee doesn't mean she's unqualified for the job as POTUS...

I'm kinda halfway serious. She was at such a high level of government as well as being not super tech savvy (like many of her generation) that she felt that she didn't have to worry about such things and others would take care of it. She trusted her advisors and underlings to handle that stuff and they bungled the hell out if it.

Yet, she's still the best major party candidate in the race. Horseshoe up their ### indeed...

 
Z, you summed up exactly how I feel about her.  IMO she's filler between Obama and another great  President.
