Washington Post, per Business Insider:

http://www.businessinsider.com/obama-approval-rating-trump-hillary-clinton-polls-2016-9?utm_source=feedburner&amp%3Butm_medium=referral

In a Washington Post poll released over the weekend, the president's approval rating hit an astounding 58%. That is 15 points higher than it was in a Post poll from right before the 2014 midterm elections. And it's the highest level since he hit that point six months into his presidency.

We hear this excuse from you guys for EVERYTHING she does.  You teach your kids to lie and withhold info from you?  Because that's what you're condoning.

It's this type of thinking that allows her to get away with anything.
Max, if you believed that Hillary was an honest person, would you vote for her?

So frustrating. I'm NOT ok with it. I donated to Sanders. I would prefer Biden or Kaine. I would have given serious consideration to a truly moderate Republican (Kasich?)

But I don't get to pick my candidate any more. We, as a Nation, already picked our candidates. I was not, and am not, happy with the process used, and truly believe the DNC did us a gross dis-service pimping CLinton and handicapping that process. But these ARE the candidates. There's no way to pick between them without comparing them to each other.

I work hard to remain open-minded. There are numerous "conservative" opinions and positions I do agree with. There are many moderate Republicans that can converse openly and honestly. But that just doesn't happen today...it's all attack attack attack. And all too often, those attacks are not simply biased, but grossly unfair, based not on any objective reality but on the idea of inflicting maximum damage. Many of the attacks on CLinton and Obama have not been reasonable. This particular attack (non-transparency) IS. But don't all politicians have some flaws we don't like?

My issues with Trump go far deeper, and I'm confused and appalled that he got so far. While some attacks on him are exaggerated which I don't like, most have a basis in something...in a true and often scary flaw. I do believe he's a danger to our Republic, and I have NEVER felt that way about a candidate before. I agree that Hillary's a liar, and that she's corrupt (although not to the extent the right claims)...but I also KNOW Trump is a liar and is out for himself first, ALWAYS. I see his lies, and I'm amazed he got this far spouting them. I understand CLinton lying about her health here (although, one could reasonably argue that non-disclosure isn't lying, her campaign certainly lied for a few hours in the immediate aftermath), but I don't understand why Trump would lie about his charitable donations. I don't like how the CLinton foundation has improved access for rich folks, but I'm far more concerned about a candidate who has been sued 100's of times, including by the justice department for blatant racism!!!!!!

Like it or not, things must be looked at comparatively, and we SHOULD be trying to look from all angles, with an open mind and fairly. That's hard today, but we should TRY.

It's this type of thinking that allows her to get away with anything.
Do you teach your kids that we should throw all imperfect people in the same category and reject them all regardless of the number and degree of their misdeeds and imperfections, even if the differences between them are vast?

It's that type of thinking that might result in a President Donald Trump.

Honest politician? Really? Name one.

Amazed at how many seem to be oblivious to the magnitude at which Trump lies during this campaign. 70% of what the guy says is complete bull####. Clinton is a piker compared to Don. Cheeto Jesus is a great role model for kids.

Does anyone know more about this?

true or just another idiot talking?

"Chelsea's Apt. Has Same Address as a Medical Facility!--Hillary's Secret Hospital?

A Presidential candidate collapses at a ceremony in NYC...and rushed off...not to one of the many world-class hospitals and clinics nearby...but to her daughter's $11M apartment.

Sound odd? It did to me.

So I looked up a bit about Chelsea's new apt.:
THE WHITMAN, 21 EAST 26TH STREET, 4 - FLATIRON DISTRICT, NEW YORK
[link to www.elliman.com]

I discovered that it exactly shares an address with:

METROCARE HOME SERVICES, INC.
21 East 26th Street, 4th Fl
New York, NY 10010
[link to profiles.health.ny.gov (secure)]

SAME address..SAME Floor...only One Apt. per floor.

To the press...it would only appear Hillary was just dropping in for a visit with her daughter...when, in reality, she is receiving medical treatment and controlled substances from private physicians and private pharmacists...on private property (no need for disclosure).

2015 Lie of the Year: the campaign misstatements of Donald Trump 12/21/15

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2015/dec/21/2015-lie-year-donald-trump-campaign-misstatements/

(Excerpt - many more are documented in the article) "It’s the trope on Trump: He’s authentic, a straight-talker, less scripted than traditional politicians. That’s because Donald Trump doesn’t let facts slow him down. Bending the truth or being unhampered by accuracy is a strategy he has followed for years.

"People may not always think big themselves, but they can still get very excited by those who do. That's why a little hyperbole never hurts," Trump wrote in his 1987 best-seller The Art of the Deal. "People want to believe that something is the biggest and the greatest and the most spectacular. I call it truthful hyperbole. It's an innocent form of exaggeration — and a very effective form of promotion."

That philosophy guided Trump in luxury real estate and reality television. This year he brought it to the world of presidential politics.

Trump has "perfected the outrageous untruth as a campaign tool," said Michael LaBossiere, a philosophy professor at Florida A&M University who studies theories of knowledge. "He makes a clearly false or even absurdly false claim, which draws the attention of the media. He then rides that wave until it comes time to call up another one."

PolitiFact has been documenting Trump’s statements on our Truth-O-Meter, where we’ve rated 76 percent of them Mostly False, False or Pants on Fire, out of 77 statements checked. No other politician has as many statements rated so far down on the dial."

This isn't the Trump thread.

"People want to believe that something is the biggest and the greatest and the most spectacular. I call it truthful hyperbole. It's an innocent form of exaggeration — and a very effective form of promotion."
Weird thing is that this is essentially a truthful statement, and horribly he was truly right for much of 2015 and it's held true through 2016.

I think it would have been better if "Lie" of the year was either "A" single lie or "Liar of the Year" if it was based on multiple lies.

I'm kind of curious what would be the single "Lie of the Year" from Trump. I have a candidate from Hillary but I'd like to see the competition first if anyone wants to pick one.

infowars is a great place to get reliable information.

This isn't the Trump thread.
Since the issue was raised about Clinton being a liar, including a response that she is a piker compared to Trump, checking Trump's record is relevant in that context.

* Didn't have to look any further than your last post in the Trump thread. Of course it was about Clinton. :)

"Based on that video that's a horse they put down."

I was replying to a post about Hillary but good to see you actually took time to look into that. :lmao:

I don't know about my favorite or worst, but the most dunderheaded and unintentionally comedic backfire was this (:25 second mark - watch him dissemble when caught red handed not even knowing Putin was already in the Ukraine, AFTER stating unequivocally and categorically about Putin, "He isn't going into the Ukraine, you can mark it down, you can put it down, take it any way you want."):

If you don't understand the problem with using infowars as your source of information, there's not much point.  She's a lizard person and that's the address she goes to change her meatsuit.  Happy?
Sorry fish, Paul Joseph Watson is one of the best, and Alex Jones is just a hilarious troll.

Trump talks about his little schlong during a debate.

Building a wall is the central most important part of his campaign's beginnings.

Dismisses POW Senator and one time presidential nominee of your part as a loser who got caught.

Attack parents of soldier because they disagree with you and comparing his loss and sacrifice  to theirs.

There's 30-40 more, these just came to mind.
Says judge can't be impartial because of his ethnicity.

Ha deserves its own award. An award Hillary would never have a nomination for.

"He's already there." (Oh).

What's your point SiD? They thought a crime might have been committed and then determined that one wasn't.
Granted immunity from criminal prosecution to two different people.

Maybe you can clarify for me. Comey said in congressional testimony that the FBI doesn't do FOIA, so what crime were they granting criminal immunity from to these two people?

And why did three different people show up and take the Fifth today, self-incrimination of what? Investigation's over.

Funny that USA Today couldn't debunk the Body Double story.  Some good comparative analysis has been done on the images.  I don't think the "I feel great" episode was Hillary -- the implications of which are staggering.

Outside of the physical evidence, does anyone think Secret Service is even allowed to let a nominee go out the door totally unprotected on a New York City street with people standing around with smartphones recording?  Let alone when she passed out a few hours earlier and is on her best days surrounded by attendants?

I think it gotten that bad.  Campaign went into full crisis mode and misdirected (i.e. deceived) by putting a phony out for a photo opp.  Nose is different.  Woman on street is thinner and walks differently, has longer arms and more pronounced elongated gestures.

I don't think it's Hillary.

Yes I was, this post was two before mine and the one I was referencing and responding to, I don't quote every post I reference and respond to (especially when they are a post or two apart, and the connection is obvious to most people). You are missing the point about contradictorily criticizing posting about Trump in the Clinton thread when you posted about Clinton in the Trump thread. It is EXACTLY the same. I already saw your post previously and didn't need to "look it up".

Were you expecting major excitement? I can't think of anything more dull.
One guy was a no show even after a subpoena.  Everyone else pleaded the 5th to every single question.  They have nothing on the line here.  DOJ has granted them immunity and they were just following their client's wishes.

So she obviously did nothing wrong?

The Great Danton theory is alive and well

Not as funny as you beliving this absurd claim she uses a body double. This so called double had a voice that was identical to Hillary's, how did she manage that? Was she lip sincing like Milli Vanilli and Hillary was broadcasting from within Chelsey's home?  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTWvS7SWEHE

hillary double was obviously pushed(number 1 trend on twitter) so people would think the entire Hillary health thing was crazy, but the truth is there is a lot to be concerned with when it comes to Hillary's health.

No "we" didn't.

A party's nomination process is whatever they want it to be, and less than 10% of "we" participate in the party process. It's not a "we" process. It's a "their" process.

The problem is the rest of the voters think they have to vote for one of the two. And neither party wants to rock that boat at all. It the source of their political power.

Political decoys are a very real thing and are paid impersonators, including voice.  She's only about an 85% match.  Voice is not identical.  It's a good impression. She's thinner, moves differently, is painfully rehearsed to drop two taking points and has a different nose, different finger lengths, darker roots and bigger ear lobes.

Once again they're playing one over and her supports have the sinker in the belly.

JFC.

Listen to it.

It. Sounds. Exactly. Like. Hillary.

Are you related to Squissy?

If she slipped into a coma, could the DNC still run her, get her elected and then declare her disabled and make Kaine president?  I'm all over that ticket. I'd vote for a cucumber over Trump.
