:lmao:

So when I revisit this thread in 2020, as Hillary runs for re-election, I'm going to return to this page. 1506. That's when all the Clinton haters collectively lost their minds, blathering on about impeachment, indictment, prison time. Will any of you even be here when we discuss Hillary's chances for her 2nd term? I doubt it.

The sad thing is you probably already bookmarked this page and will use it four years later.  Welcome to Squitter level obsession.

If you had any self-awareness, you'd hope this board self-destructs before 2020.  Your shameful shilling for Clinton is like Adonis...but at least he was paid.

Ha. I'll bite

Jesus what a S%^#*storm.

Please can't we just keep the orange buffoon out of the white house and deal with CLinton later. Honestly don't care if she's impeached....not so sure we'll have time to impeach Trump before there's trouble

come on dude.  We need some racist, zenobobia, bigoted white guy stuff.   You will sleep better knowing you are better.
He is in phase one which is arrogance...phase two is calling people uneducated...phase three is the nazi, bigot, homophobe name-calling of those who don't agree with you...

Don't forget accusing those he disagrees with as lacking critical thinking skills in the same breath he goes on a two day childish rant binge  #Koya

Louis C.K. came out as a huge supporter of Hillary Clinton while sitting down with Conan O'Brien on Tuesday, explaining that the Democratic presidential candidate is the leader America needs.

"I think she's great, and it's not a lesser-of-two-evils [thing], I think she great," C.K. shared, admitting that he knew he'd be "splitting his audience" with his endorsement. "I think she's really talented and I think she's super smart, and I would take her over anybody."

However, the one thing that the 49-year-old outspoken comic is most excited about is having "the first mother in the White House."

"It's not about [her being] the first woman, it's about the first mom," he said. "Because a mother's just got it. A mother just does it. She feeds you and teaches you and protects you. She takes care of s**t."

"We've had 240 years of fathers. Father after father," the comedian continued. "Fathers are OK. I'm a father, you're a dad, a great father can give a kid 40 percent of his needs, tops. He tops out at 40 percent. Any mother, just a sh**ty mother, just a not-even-trying mother: 200 percent!"

For C.K., one of Donald Trump's greatest flaws is his inability to handle criticism and abuse, whereas Clinton has been "taking it and taking it" for years.

"We've been hazing her. We've been holding her down and spitting in her mouth and yelling at her and she just gets up and goes, 'Well, I just think that if children have proper health care…,'" he quipped. "She just keeps working! So I'm totally for her."

That isn't to say that he thinks she's a great person. In fact, C.K. says she's exactly the kind of "two-faced, conniving, crazy [person] who's just got a million schemes" that the country could really use.

"We need a tough ##### mother that nobody likes, and who just does s**t!," he exclaimed.

Ultimately, C.K. says he's got "no problem with anybody who votes for Trump" if it's what they truly believe, but he has no patience for disaffected Americans who don't want to participate in the election at all.

"I think If you vote for Hillary, you're a grown-up, if you vote for Trump you're a sucker, if you don't vote for anybody you're an a**hole," he concluded.

Is this kind of language helping? I don't think it makes anyone decide for Hillary, but I could sure see it adding to the FU vote.

I don't think there's a single person who doesn't know who they support.  Could affect turnout but I doubt many Trump voters are thinking "I wasn't going to vote but Louis C.K. made fun of me, I'll show him!!".

I don't like it. I've read a few other similar rationales. They all seem to be trying to be a calm in the storm, but the storm is real and Comey set it off against long standing agreements. He isn't independent here. Maybe hard to swallow if you're a fan, but he overstepped. The idea he would have caught hell later is a poor defense in lieu of the Hatch Act. He very simply could have manned up and explained we don't influence elections. That is the decision of an independent FBI Director. His decision influenced the election. He should be removed.

I think there's a lot of people, myself included, who aren't supporting either. But call me an ###hole, and I just may act the sucker.

Removal would be a political act plain & simple. That is Nixonian.

July 5th presser was 2 weeks before the DNCC - not political?

Caspar Weinberger indicted 4 days before the 92 election - not political?

Bill Clinton meets AG Lynch days before Comey presser - not political?

Fbi leaks information to WaPo in 74 leading to Nixon's resignation - not political?

Doj refuses to grant the FBI tools to investigate Hillary and the Foundation - not political?

Care to compare these?

It's a coup d'etat.  No doubt about it.  But I think the FBI has the interest of the people in mind.  Time will judge for sure.  One could say that the Hatch violation happened when the DOJ ruled on Hillary without looking at the other computers, told the FBI to destroy evidence, etc.  Why did any of that happen?  Those actions ALL influenced this election.  When this ends, my bet is both Comey and Lynch are forced out...one disgraced and the other a hero.

Blowing things up doesn't usually end well, but not very many people living today have experienced anything like the Great Depression or WWII (and the US got off lightly even there).  They're underestimating just how off the rails things can go.  No one ever believes it will happen to them, until it does.
Yes, anyone who thinks that we may as well blow everything up because things can't get any worse is really badly mistaken.

Until missiles are landing in our own back yards, things can get worse. Way, way worse. We don't appreciate how good we have things. We are spoiled by a very long string of peacetime at home. I hope we remain spoiled for as long as possible, but things can absolutely get worse, and blowing everything up with, to use Michael Moore's term, a human Molotov cocktail is a lot riskier than people seem to realize.

All of this innuendo, (and I'm not saying it's all false; at this point I just don't know anymore) and she's still a billion times better than Donald Trump.
I don't think that's accurate. I have said that she's a thousand time better than Trump, but even that is hyperbole. Fully taking into account how horrifying Trump is, my best estimate is that Hillary is realistically only about twenty-three times better than him. I could be off by an order of magnitude in either direction, but a billion times is well outside the margin of error.

Well I'm not going anywhere. And since the Republicans are likely to keep the House you can bet on an impeachment vote. Really early in her first term. If she manages to hold on and win.  I think Ol Donnie may have the same fate waiting. He is going to trial after all something that isn't guaranteed for Hillary. They impeach him they get Pence. And Pence is the really dangerous one on that ticket.
