Paying for Chelsea's Wedding from the foundation?  Yeah, great charity.  ILLEGAL

DRAIN THE SWAMP!
The Clinton slush fund!   How anyone can defend either of these candidates is beyond me.  And no not all politicians are this bad.  These two rank #1 and #2 as top sleazeballs.  Neither should be within 100 miles of the White House.

How much does hillary need to win by for people to not say it was rigged?
A gazillion. At least.

There are people who's entire political world view is that by providing equality and freedom to others, including and especially population segments that due to an inequitable landscape had been artificially held down, that the system is rigged against them.

you know, since lazy uneducated white folks are watching more educated latinos, for example, rise past them on the economic and social ladder, the system must be rigged. Its only not rigged when its rigged against everyone else.

I don't think I see the payment by the Foundation part here, but one thing emerging from these CF/Teneo emails is that Chelsea Clinton does not appear very well liked or respected in the Foundation/Teneo circles, or rather that there is a lot of division between her and Bill Clinton's traditional team. Quite the game player there also, but apparently not on the skill level of her parents by a long shot. This will be our future de facto First Lady.

The part about her being buddies and sharing information with Bush kids is kind of interesting too. Funny (odd) how chummy everyone is despite the alleged ideological opposition.

Are people still falling for this wiki leaks crap?
MORE LINKS! Without anything else!

Its been days since Ive bothered to even click on a Mr. Ham or Dodds link. At this rate, Im going to start questioning whether I should bother with anything put forth by Dodds, be it political or football.  Just such a clear demonstration of what I have railed against re no critical thinking and almost literal parrotting of anything to support their preconceived and half baked conspiracy theories.

:lmao:

A simple question ... I'm being serious. Are people really still following wiki leaks?
Wikileaks has an agenda which needs to be taken with a grain of salt.  But that is true with every source.  Get past the spin and just pay attention to the meat.

"Critical thinking" :lmao:

That's how I feel about this entire election. There's so much misinformation out there, and how can anybody take info at face value? On either side?

Really? I mean, it's bad enough to just continually throw these fringe links.  You really want to go all Wrambling Wreck?

all joking aside, because while I don't know you personally, having been here for pushing 20 years I've built a great deal of respect for what you do (whereas I only know WR from his childish approach here so no respect to be gained) ... but you're approach here, for an extended period at this point, is really quite sad, sorry.  There's not even an attempt at positive nor constructive dialogue.

For 'just posters' here I couldn't much care... sorry to see these tactics and lack of constructive dialog from you though. And to encourage just the lack of genuine dialogue that honestly hurts these threads and these boards?

Obviously you don't much care, but sucks all the same from my perspective.

I don't think the problem is with Chelsea as much as the Clinton staff who really don't want anyone looking into how Bill Inc. operates.  Of course Chelsea is hated, she is naive and believes everything her parents do is on the up and up.

Dodds is off the deep end lately, but "nothing remains" isn't accurate, either.  We've got all sorts of conflicts of interest between State, Teneo, the Foundation, etc.  We have multiple State staff members pleading the 5th, which, by definition, means those staff members believe there is something incriminating.  We definitely have intentional skirting of FOIA.  We likely have intentional deletion of data while under subpoena.

Let's not suggest that there's nothing going on here.
No.

You keep attacking me and I am suppose to take you seriously?  I will pass.

We can agree on that.  You can't trust much.  You got to grab information from all kinds of sources and see what makes most sense.  That is what is good about threads like this.  You see all kinds of perspectives and info from all kinds of sources.  It is the best way to wade through the bs.

While you have some point there, when there's been a twenty year illegitimate spin game witch hunt, going into hyper mode over the last year at some point you mentally just get off the damn spinning carousel - that's the result of the cry wolf and keep using the same lack of depth tactics continually crap that's just pushed some of us too far. Just enough already.

Months and months of wilileaks that haven't amounted to anything more than we already knew essentially and spme

of us just get fatigued to the point we ignore the same baseless chatter from the same crowd that insists on bringing that with little or nothing else to the table.

If someone of reason and with a reasoned and genuine approach wants to discuss some content in a constructive way, let's do so. But it's not going to happen with the same crew of :lmao:  and co. as we can see by their approach and lack of caring to seem to engage in a deeper discussion of real and concerning issues.

Good point, it may be that Chelsea has been looking out for her dad's rep.

Attacking you? No. Your repeated ad nauseam tactics, absolutely. Capped by your smiley face response that, quite literally, Ive said epitomized the lack of constructive dialogue due to said approach.

As I said, want to engage in non-inflammatory half baked sourcing of you tube news articles and actually talk about the full range of underlying issues with context, an acceptance of nuance and respect for a real dialogue? Im all for that.

But in all honesty, when you continually use the tactics Ive described, its hard to take anything you say seriously.  Don't blame me or become overly sensitive for my being honest about my assessment of those tactics.

Yes, we should take the Russians attempting to influence our democracy with a grain of salt.  :loco:

There is a reason for the witch hunt.  Whether you want to admit it or not, the Clintons bring it on themselves.  This is not about finding nothing or learning what we already know.  It piles on the crap of how the Clinton's operate.  Their ability to leave the white house with essentially nothing and use nothing but their political influence and power and sell it to the highest bidder to become obscenely rich.  They continually operate in the grey areas of the law which any lay person looking at it sees how blatantly unethical and sleazy it is.  Obama has his haters, but he avoids much of the scandalous crap the Clintons are always rolling in because he is not renting out the Lincoln bedroom, or collecting FBI files on enemies, or investing in cattle futures, or taking in huge donations and collecting huge speaking fees from foreign governments, or the other 1000's things that the Clinton's routinely do.

Hey guys I want to tell you all how much I have enjoyed this thread over the months.  It's great see all the folks jumping in now, it's a real hotbed.

To Tim, Jon, CIA, Ham, Squiz, Tommyboy & Tgunz, Ivan, Cobalt, Bananafish, Commish, Henry, BFS, Quez, Quint, Cleaver, Dodds, Koya, DParker and everybody (you know who you are) who have held this thing up by the bootstraps through the serious issues, the scandals, the policy, the trash talk, the respect, the back and forth, to me it's all been educational and I've really enjoyed talking to such a diverse, intelligent group from all over the country. I tip my hat to all of you.

I dedicate this song to you.

Not too much time left to hash things out. Anyway I just want to say thanks for listening and helping me learn some stuff about politics and the world along the way.

Good luck to the Hillaryites and Trumpers Tuesday. God Bless America & Go Saints.

I don't get why democrats are making such a big issue about where the information may or may not come from.  OK, I do know.  They want to deflect from the truth.

You're the one who said it doesn't even matter. IMO both the content of the leaks and the source are extremely relevant. Go ahead and celebrate the corruption being revealed, but recognize you're playing into the hands of forces that would like to see our democracy plunged into chaos.

You really can't see why people wouldn't want Russia interfering in our elections?  And you can't understand that if the Russians support the election of Trump, that's probably because it's in their best interest?

Why do you think it is that Putin would prefer Donald to Hillary? Could it be because he thinks that will leave Russia in a stronger position?

Well if our politicians acted more honestly and openly, nothing the Russians or whomever reveal would mean anything.  I don't care for Obama, but I do respect he at least attempted to operate with transparency although not always succeeding.

The truth is that nothing in the wikileaks e-mails is really that bad. I'm sure it's frustrating for Trump supporters who kept waiting/hoping for the smoking gun but there really hasn't been one.
