You sure you want to bring this up?  I'm guessing we can expect the same level of promise fulfillment that we got from Obama and the Democrats (see Obamacare).

And Obama's favorability has only increased in the last few months.  Prior to march of this year he had been well below 50% for the previous 3 years.

I think the problems with the polls were that Trump supporters were embarrassed to say they were going to vote for the "rascist/misogynist" candidate to a pollster. But were free to vote their conscience in the anonymity of the voting both.

Minorities showed up in record numbers.  Trump just got more of the Hispanic vote, educated white vote, and women vote than expected.  He cleaned house.  The pollsters were wrong across the board.

Look maybe Bernie would have won. I don't know. If I could do it over maybe I would have rooted for him (not that it would do any good). 

So anybody that wants to hold me responsible for this mess (and some of you obviously do) I'm sorry. I wish it wasn't so. 

The question is what to do now. As I wrote in the other thread, Donald Trump is about to become MY President. I will support him, at least for now, and hope it turns out for the best.

I wouldn't call it either at this point, though I can't get to anything more for HRC than 269-269.  ME 2nd district is pure red.  NE may get one blue EV.  Then if HRC gets MI, PA, and NH we're at 269.  

Unless Alaska ####s it up.

WTF are you talking about?  You'll have to deal with the fact that Democrats were not all that in favor of the Civil Rights Act as you seem to think they were.

I did. My only prediction in this thread or anywhere was that he was right with his FU speech. I said it would give Trump Michigan and this would be a landslide. I can't say I believed it, but those are the most powerful words spoken in the past year of this election. Really damaging, but just one of a thousand cuts that took out Hillary, a very deep one. So well said, completely misinterpreted.

I stayed away from here for nearly a year. Came back because of the comedy goodness in the election. Since 04 I've said I'm only following politics for the entertainment value. I'm a little sick to my stomach about Trump. The reasons why should be obvious. But I'll get over it and seriously, this should be great entertainment going forward. And for anyone so involved that your melting down over this. Welp, okay but we'll be fine. I mean how funny is it that the first flotus to be naked with other wimmins all over the internet is Republican? :lol:
