We tried watching it on Saturday night but only made it about halfway through. I finished it up today although I fast-forwarded through a bunch of it. I agree with KP above, the real life psychos were the scarier parts of the movie. I get feeling nostalgic for the book and seeing how they would do an updated version but it just wasn't very good. 80's horror was good for its time but now just feels dated. Probably why I couldn't get into Stranger Things either.
