No joke. I feel sorry for Rich. He knows now that what little Larry Brown has in his bag is football related so he has to go there for like 12 segments so it turns into a crappier version of ESPN radio. Everyone should be back at full strength soon right?

Cowboys training camp starts this week, so I'm guessing all vacations are over.

How does KCTK not realized what a bad time decision that is. I gotta think they could coordinate with the Cowboys to change it. Hell, 4 o'clock would be fine, even 3:30. Right after WTDS and then Cowboys. You would then get about 45 mins of just the Hardline.

Random thoughts on Ticket Radio:

Larry Brown is still horrible.

Bob Sturm is getting really good with all things Cowboy pre-game, and the fact that he can carry Brown just adds to that.

Love the fact that Babe is back with Brad for play by play. Charlie Waters makes Larry Brown look good.

I don't get to hear BAD radio often, but listening today, and I love the fact that Bob has fell in love with all things Kige.

$25-$50 to cover draft/site fees and some prizes for 1-2

10 or 12 teams, but 10 participants at an absolute minimum.

Try to keep to mainly FFA types, but if stretched some B&M or Shark Pool guys also

Yeah, one of the things I hoped was to sucker these guys in. And of course with my horrible math calculations I now realize only two weeks are left to the season. Not much time to get all the logistics straightened out.

I still think it's gonna be tough rounding up everyone from so far away. I don't know if there are enough in the greater dallas area to just say lets do something up in the addison complex or what.

I'm out Wednesday and Thursday 9/5 and 9/6, but I'm good any other time. Enough time to try and coordinate something for this week or this weekend? I'm out Thursday this week, but I'm open the rest of the days. Or we could always draft Friday or Saturday after the Colts/Saints game Thursday and before all the Sunday games.

The other thing is that maybe we can draft after the first week in the season. Play weeks 2-14(13 games), playoffs week 15-16. It would give us a little more time to set things up. Just a suggestion.

They have one in Grapevine that might be centrally located depending on where everyone is coming from. Not sure if they are still offering the promotion or not.

Buffalo Wild Wings was offering a deal for fantasy football leagues where you get $100 towards food if you have your draft there. Not sure if they are still offering the deal or not.

Didn't listen to the Ticket today, but saw a little news blurb about a Dallas musician being shot to death. I did a little Google search and it turns out it was Danny's roommate and Sorta member, Carter Albrecht. Did they mention this at all today?

You gotta just feel horrible for Danny. He looses his best friend, roommate, and the driving force behind Sorta. While each guy in the band is excellent in their own right, they were only going as far as Carter got them. This definitely shatters that Rock Star Dream for those guys. Life changing day for Danny. I just hope he doesn't decide to do something stupid like bailing on The Ticket.
