Official Lamont Jordan thread (1 Viewer)

Per TSN:

Oct. 13, 2007 - 8:55 a.m.

Coach Lane Kiffin told the San Francisco Chronicle that Jordan will be a game-time decision. It's doubtful he'll play, but the Raiders won't rule him out until they have to.

Fantasy Source spin: Our advice to Jordan owners is to plan on him sitting out. If that's the case, Dominic Rhodes and Justin Fargas will share the load at running back. Neither is too appealing against the Chargers

Oakland Raiders

Inactives: CB John Bowie, SS Jarrod Cooper, T Mario Henderson, QB Josh McCown, C Chris Morris, QB JaMarcus Russell (3rd QB), DT Gerard Warren, LB Sam Williams.

Fantasy take: Daunte Culpepper will start in the absence of McCown. LaMont Jordan (back) is active, but he could be limited and will share carries with Justin Fargas and Dominic Rhodes.

This is why I like "bestball" format leagues. I started Rhodes based on this lind of info and it's killing me. So far 9 points for Jordan and a big 0 for Rhodes. :goodposting:

Didn't watch the game, but given the pain he was in a couple of weeks ago, and the fact that he was doubtful heading in, I'm pretty happy with the roughly 90 total yards. The total non-use of Rhodes was pretty surprising. Certainly, this at least reopens the window for Jordan owners to deal him for another week.

:kicksrock: Definitely a good sign for Lamont owners IMO. Chargers defense is good and Oakland got down early. I think he'll continue his early season pace.
