####...hate losing in a goofy bounce and really hate seeing the Cup skated around on our ice.

Good series Penguins...hate that quick whistle of course and eventually will be happy to see my team having played in a finals.  That just sucks.
Sorry man.  You, Spin and Hagmania kept it classy .  Great season.

Pens and Caps were clearly the two best teams this year, but the Preds could have actually won that series had Rinne showed up in games 1 and 2 and if they would have got a bounce or two tonight.  You make your own luck, Pens were better at the start and end of series but in the middle they took a lot of punches.

As someone whose team won it relatively recently, I hope that everyone here can get to witness their team skating the Cup around the ice at some point in your lifetime.

Except the Canadiens. F those guys!

IIRC the only time the Cup won on visiting ice was dicey with the crowd was in Vancouver.  I was in Detroit in 2009, those who stayed to watch the Pens skate around golf clapped when they were handed the cup.  To me you have to stay and see that, even if your team loses.

But you still were a lot safer staying inside the building.

Yep.  And there weren't a lot of fans left just now, but to be fair, a lot of people in Nashville probably didn't know they had a team until the last few months.
