The bottom of the shark logo appears to be 3 solid lines, but the swan logo is broken up into 2-1-2 format.

Which post are people worried about? Serious question, I'll conform to whatever etiquette you are following. I didn't see any problems though.Please make sure to preview your post before posting it so that all spoilers are always hidden and people have to make an effort to see them.
No bad posts at all, just a general "I agree", especially since the new guy didn't know how to put spoilers in white. I just added a comment to use the preview so that you know that you aren't exposing a spoiler, since tons of us don't want to know every spoiler.Which post are people worried about? got it stbugs..thanks for the help. thats why i asked about the spoiler text.. i didnt want to ruin anything.None in particular. There were no spoilers not in white. I just thought it was a good note from XNOUGHT that people should be careful, especially those that don't know how to put spoiler text in white in quotes, so that spoilers aren't right in the post and plainly visible. My note was just a "good posting" and a comment to use the preview so that you know that you aren't exposing a spoiler, since tons of us don't want to know every spoiler.Which post are people worried about? That works for me. I just wanted to get past the darn promo pictures. There was one that showed Anna punching Sawyer and another that showed her in the pit with them (this was before episode 2 was even shown), so it kinda of ruined episode 2 and 3 a bit because I knew she was a spy when they were talking to here in the pit and I already knew that all 3 made it back to the island safely from the raft, so no suspense with the shark.I am looking forward to watching the show knowing nothing ahead of time and being able to theorize on where the show is going without true spoilers.

True and I agree that it isn't conclusive. Heck there could be a warped octagonal warning sign on the bottom of every plane out there. I do think it is a red herring at this point mainly because it is not really a pure octagonal shape. If they stamp DHARMA symbols on everything, then why would they do it on the plane with some sides longer than others. Plus all the lines connect and go all the way around. And, if you look at the logo on the shark, you can tell that octogon had a different outside bar configuration as well. You can? I definitely can't to me, it almost looks like part of two circular lines, like in the Oceanic logo, but it doesn't seem like a full circle because you can see 4 of the sides so we can actually see almost all of the middle if the outside lines close in like it seems they do.Actually, now that I look at it again, doesn't it look like it would only have six sides. It looks to me that side 4 is starting to come back in and if it was an Octagon, then side 4 would be perpindicular to side 2, not at an angle. Side 4 appears to be at the exact opposite of side 3, which make me think that this shape has six sides.
What do you guys think?
Edit to Add: they remove leading spaces so that really ####ed up my diagram, let me put periods in there.

Last week posters here were complaining the aol.com clips gave away WAY too much. I wouldn't do it.
See my post above Hulk. It looks to me the more I look at it to have six sides. To be an Octagon, you have to have four sides, like a square where the top and bottom are parellel and the two sides are perpindicular to them. Then the other fours sides are like cutting off the corners of the square. The bottom right side that we see looks like it is curving in, not perpindicular to the top side, so it looks to me to have 6 sides (from what we can see) not 8.I'm not saying its the swan logo.
