Yup. We also have a now-useless "like this" button on the right side of posts. I say now-useless because the mods disabled that too.

If it's an innovative new feature, mods make sure we don't have access to it, and hide behind their computer screens instead of being transparent. It's great.

looks like the only option is the "show more topics" at the bottom of the page, but you'd have to do that every time you go to the forum page.

It might make people feel bad if their posts don't get any likes and other folks are racking them up. Unless your plan is to like ALL posts, but that seems like a lot of work.

anyway to get the site to resize with browser window? I usually go half screen on the laptop with a browser window, but now the site doesnt resize to fit the window. Have to scroll right/left to see entire page.

The forums should auto-resize to the fit the screen - I have to make my screen around 800px wide or less in order to force it to show me a horizontal scrollbar. Which browser/version/OS are you using?

osx firefox 19 and safari 6 same result. resolution 1280x800 so half screen window would be 640ish. thanks for looking at this.

FYI - same issue on a win7 machine with a 1920x1200 resolution, firefox 19. When going half screen (960x1200) I now have to slide horizontal bar back and forth to see entire page. Looks like it only goes full width at about 1024. Would be great if this could be fixed.

Ive been using the mobile version on the desktop and it resolves most of these issues in here (no extra spaces, no huge icons, no width issues). If we can just get the page numbers for each thread on the mobile version this could become the new default setting for my desktop.

In all seriousness, any way we can get a color differentiation between the blue dots that indicate every thread and the blue stars for ones you've posted in? Scanning quickly, the stars don't stand out very much and that's what I would use them for. Change them to red or something (maybe orange???).

I checked on this -- the profile settings for removing avatars/signatures/etc. have been done away with. Looks like they're not coming back..

A browser extension like AdBlock could probably be configured to remove avatars, but I would suggest using the mobile version of the board instead. It doesn't completely remove avatars, but it only uses the smaller thumbnails rather than the full-size ones and it cuts way down on the number of images. You can click the "Change Theme" link in the bottom left and choose "IP Board Mobile" to try it out.

Thanks, but I'm using Firefox. The last version of the board, spell check was activated without me doing anything.
