Who wins it all?

This Dodger lineup is pretty average.

How were they 1st in HR and 1st in runs scored in NL?

They have some big bats that are injured?

Seems the Astros and Yankees had lots more to worry about.

Love the decision to go with Eovaldi and with 13 pitches thrown, he can probably still start in game 4. Strategically love it that is, because I just can't cheer for Boston.

J.D. and Xander's balls are out even in Dodger Stadium in this weather. J.D. hit it 379 and Xander hit 420 on the track. That's out here.

  I don't particularly care for LA either, just enjoying the last few games of baseball with lots of great players on teams I dislike.
Sorry, man. I'm sure. I'm not a Toronto guy, either.
All good, I love postseason baseball and will always watch and enjoy. When Toronto won world series' they were the highest payroll team in the league both years, so much of my reason for disliking these teams is total hypocrisy.

Yeah, I'm not as into baseball anymore -- if it's neutral -- more hockey.

But that's sweet right now.

I had LA Gear "Pumps", so mine were cheap Reeboks.
Gotcha. The Pump -- had no patent.

But did you just see the sort of textual bizarreness that was Alex Cora's press conference. I can't wait until they show it again unless I'm so blind of my butt I didn't hear what I heard.

Nah, I'm watching Vegas/Vancouver hockey now.
Sure. That's a minute and a half (sans hyphen) of an unveiling. I can't fathom sneaker culture these days. How sick that must be for really, really, wealthy kids. Just kicks. When they get dirty...ditch 'em...we rolling...exploring...we hold 'em...we sold 'em...

Good night of postseason baseball; love me West Coast hockey for the dial.

Makes it sweeter. Couldn't find it, NV.  Hope you had fun, bud.

WTF you talking about?
Guy went to a Boston fan bar game one. Had a blast.

Guy went to a Dodgers fan bar game two. Lame city.

LA Better: Weather, Beaches, social events, ... and Hollywood, oh, and more attractive people

Boston better: Sports, sports fans, seafood, hospitals, colleges /higher education?

Maybe it's closer that I initially thought. But LA would still be the preferred place to live if you could afford a nice neighborhood.

Guys,

Lets take it to the Hockey and “Alternative means of athletic shoe fitment” forums please.

Peace,

J

Oh, that was me and NV. We go back to music and hockey threads, so sometimes I lose myself where I am. I honestly thought we were in our FF thread. We weren't, but I wouldn't change it, would you, really? A friendly face and talking baseball?

Relevant point, and fair, but I was being an ebullient Sox fan at that point. That's on me.

I won't change, though. I won't offer passive-aggressive apologies, either. It's a crazy sport that brings people together.

Sorry if this was posted already (I didn't see it) but this is one of the better sports photographs I've seen:

Orioles fans have to love that.  The season ended nearly a month ago, its the world series, and Fenway is still reminding everyone they finished 61 games back.

There was a story on The Athletic a few weeks back talking about how they had to contract to the local company that makes the numbers for the Green Monster scoreboard to make some new ones, because they needed to use numbers they never had before.
