lol he was hoping he could just float to first base instead of having to hustleMachado to busy blowing bubbles there
Yeah, well, I won't be swayed by facts here, pal.Hill went 7IP max just four times this year. He often just goes five
Yeah but he still has the talent to clip the ankle and chew at the same time.Machado to busy blowing bubbles there
Nope. Joe Buck said he was just trying to beat it out.Such a dirty player
I was spiked (accidentally) in my senior year of HS ... bled enough to turn my sock completely red, and I have still a bit of scar visible to this day. I have no use for guys who do that.Such a dirty player
Ray Charles thought it was dumb to pull Rich HillEven trump thought it was dumb to pull Hill
Erin's nephew? He doesn't look Irish at all fwiw.Dave Roberts looks more like Cheech Moran everyday.
Ortiz dealing and he brings in Felix, who relied heavily on his fast ball, to face Spiezio who was a notoious first pitch fast ball hitter. Bay Area should have two more titles between that and Harbaugh passing the ball 4 times iniside the 5.Seriously. My worst sports moment for almost a decade. Giants had a terrible pen against the Angels. Terrible coaching decision to pull Russ Oritz game 6 up 5-0. Cost them the WS because of his incompetence.
Always appreciated Bochy. Felt like he made the right decision more often than not.
Just need to start drilling his teammates between the shoulder blades after that crap. Best way to sort it out.Machado has cost himself a minimum of $50 million. Maybe more.
I'm starting to think that Dave Roberts isn't very good at this whole managing a baseball team thingDidn't watch last night, but just looking over the box score.
Before I start laughing uncontrollably., am I reading this right? Dave Roberts yanked Hill with 91 pitches because the great Brock Holt, a left handed hitter, was coming to the plate? On top of that, another left handed hitter, Jackie Bradley Jr was on deck
Nevermind... see that JBJ pinch hit for Vazquez. But still, why pull Hill there? 1 hit, 1 run through 6.3?
Welcome to the new baseball!Didn't watch last night, but just looking over the box score.

That makes sense. Put baserunners on during the world series. That'll learn em.Just need to start drilling his teammates between the shoulder blades after that crap. Best way to sort it out.
You got 162 games to send the message. Nobody will want to play with the ### clown. That makes sense. Put baserunners on during the world series. That'll learn em.
This has some good info on what went into the decision to pull Hill.Didn't watch last night, but just looking over the box score.

Saw the interview this morning. Hill said keep an eye on me and he did walk the first batter. Then struck out the next batter on 3 pitches. Hill is not throwing 98mph gas and still looked very smooth and comfortable at that point. The main reason Hill should have stayed in though it seemed Boston was having a very tough time figuring him out and was off balance all night as he is not your typical flame thrower.
I read that and only have more questions. If I'm told by my SP to 'keep an eye on me' he's not seeing Nunez (who's been doing it for Boston for a year and a half) after walking the leadoff hitter.

If, for some reason I am leaving him in, it's because my bullpen is dangerously thin after playing 18 the night before and my hand is a bit forced. I got through the Nunez AB ( A 3 pitch strike out) I have a LHP/LHB matchup already in front of me. The guy's allowed 5 base runners all night. So why waste one of the few bullets that I have? Especially the only left handed one I have available (Urias not available) when the Red Sox bench has Moreland, JBJ, Devers and Swihart at Cora's disposal
Yankees beg to differMachado has cost himself a minimum of $50 million. Maybe more.
All good points and I pretty much agree.I read that and only have more questions. If I'm told by my SP to 'keep an eye on me' he's not seeing Nunez (who's been doing it for Boston for a year and a half) after walking the leadoff hitter.

I'm inEpic Problem said:The more I think about, the more I think he should be fired before the first pitch tonight.
I called for his execution for doing this in June / July. Hard to imagine that it’s still happening in late October**** batting 3rd is good stuff
I liked it.Weird decision letting Price hit here but who am I to question him
