Who's Adam and what article is he referring to?......and they won't.
Someone needs to tell Al that it was southern Democrats that we’re doing the lynching. This is pretty terrible even for Al Sharpton. Have any elected Democrats condemned this yet?
https://www.breitbart.com/video/2018/10/05/sharpton-after-collins-kavanaugh-announcement-trump-base-are-like-people-who-attended-lynchings-after-church/
I am quite certain Al Sharpton has better understanding of the history of lynching black people in this country than you do.Someone needs to tell Al that it was southern Democrats that we’re doing the lynching.
Which party does the KKK identify with nowadays?Someone needs to tell Al that it was southern Democrats that we’re doing the lynching.
Which party do the Black Panthers identify with nowadays?Which party does the KKK identify with nowadays?
For what?Just stopping in to see if any elected Democrat officials condemned Rev Sharpton yet.
All nine of them are probably democrats.Which party do the Black Panthers identify with nowadays?
What elected Democratic Party officials have commented on anything Al Sharpton has had to say in recent years?Just stopping in to see if any elected Democrat officials condemned Rev Sharpton yet.
The KKK is irrelevant these days.Which party does the KKK identify with nowadays?
Yeah, for What? For what?Just stopping in to see if any elected Democrat officials condemned Rev Sharpton yet.
Didn't big Al just insinuate Trump supporters are in favor of lynchings?Yeah, for What?
I don't know, that's why I asked.Didn't big Al just insinuate Trump supporters are in favor of lynchings?Yeah, for What?
OK, what party do backwards racist hillbillies identify with nowadays? The KKK is irrelevant these days.
You seem to be painting a bigoted broad stroke with that big brush of yours.OK, what party do backwards racist hillbillies identify with nowadays?
You guys are funny. You say no one discusses the subject, then someone does and then you clam up.Didn't big Al just insinuate Trump supporters are in favor of lynchings?
I'm sorry, do KKK types not fit that description? Because that's who I'm talking about. You seem to be painting a bigoted broad stroke with that big brush of yours.
So are the southern Democrats you referred to that were doing the lynchings. The KKK is irrelevant these days.
I believe he was talking about Adam Serwer of the Atlantic. The Cruelty Is the PointYou guys are funny. You say no one discusses the subject, then someone does and then you clam up.
Who is the Adam and the article that Sharpton was referring to? He didn’t just dream up the lynching comp out of thin air.
By the way Trump supporters should love a bomb throwing populist racialist, just the wrong side of the fence I guess.
AKA Trump's base.So are the southern Democrats you referred to that were doing the lynchings.
Yes, in the past it was southern Democrats doing all the lynching in America. Thankfully that doesn't happen anymore, but it's still Democrats that hold African Americans in the welfare plantation and are still the slaves of Democrats. . Many are starting to see the light and are walking away from the Democrats and that welfare plantation. So are the southern Democrats you referred to that were doing the lynchings.
Do you mind letting me know if you have any aliases? I want to make sure I get you 100% on ignore and not just 80%. TIA.Yes, in the past it was southern Democrats doing all the lynching in America. Sorry if the truth hurts. It was Lyndon Johnson who created the welfare plantation and said he would have blacks voting for Democrats for the next 200 years.Do you mind letting me know if you have any aliases? I want to make sure I get you 100% on ignore and not just 80%. TIA.

I’m like Trump supporters, I don’t care about truth - I just don’t want to read your posts any more. Is that a no to the aliases?Sorry if the truth hurts. It was Lyndon Johnson who created the welfare plantation and said he would have blacks voting for Democrats for the next 200 years.
Here is a well respected black women who thinks this way - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-a3-Z73gIHY
Welfare plantation? African Americans are still the slaves of Democrats?
A horrible stereotypical characterization of both Democrats and black people.
Per Snopes, it is unproven that LBJ actually said that:Sorry if the truth hurts. It was Lyndon Johnson who created the welfare plantation and said he would have blacks voting for Democrats for the next 200 years.
Johnson used the "N word" in private often. That is a fact. Do I believe he said this? Yes I do. Regardless, it's obvious his programs did put blacks in the welfare plantation and has them voting Democrats. I see that reversing, however slowly, but it will happen.Per Snopes, it is unproven that LBJ actually said that:
https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/lbj-voting-democratic/
Did LBJ Say ‘I’ll Have Those N*****s Voting Democratic for 200 Years’?
CLAIM
President B. Lyndon Johnson once said, "I'll have those s voting Democratic for 200 years."
President Lyndon B. Johnson supposedly made a crude racist remark about his party's voter base. There's little evidence to back it up.
RATING
UNPROVEN
[...]
LBJ’s comment about black people voting Democrat was supposedly uttered to two unnamed governors traveling with the president on Air Force One, but we only have one source — MacMillan, who claimed he overheard the exchange — and no corroboration from anyone else. And then there’s MacMillan’s editorializing: “It was strictly a political ploy for the Democratic party. He was phony from the word go.” And: “This was the attitude of these people who were championing civil rights.”
It’s not just that MacMillan gives the appearance of being a biased witness, but also that his cynical portrait is at odds with historical evidence showing that by the time Johnson took office after JFK’s assassination, he was fully committed to Kennedy’s civil rights legislation. [...]
Fox commentator Candace Owens is a well respected black woman? Here is a well respected black women who thinks this way - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-a3-Z73gIHY
She's a very smart women and is a true leader of the black community.Fox commentator Candace Owens is a well respected black woman?
She is hardly an objective and unbiased source to be used to speak for all African Americans:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Candace_Owens
Candace Owens (born 1989)[1] is an American conservative commentator and activist. She is known for her pro-Trump stance and her criticism of Black Lives Matter and of the Democratic Party.[2][3][4] She is the Director of Communications at the conservative advocacy group Turning Point USA.
LBJ is considered the person most responsible for getting The Civil Rights Act of 1964 passed. He couldn't have been too racist to have accomplished that.Johnson used the "N word" in private often. That is a fact. Do I believe he said this? Yes I do.
Regardless whether he said it (and I believe he did), his programs ensured the black vote for Democrats (so far for decades). I see that reversing.LBJ is considered the person most responsible for getting The Civil Rights Act of 1964 passed. He couldn't have been too racist to have accomplished that.
Also, his use of the N word does not prove he said that he would have blacks voting for Democrats for the next 200 years.
Most black people would disagree with that, as evidenced by a closer look at Candace Owens views on race relations. No wonder Fox loves her.JohnnyU said:She's a very smart women and is a true leader of the black community.
I think she is making positive traction with her black communities. It's a slow process to make people understand they are enslaved to a party because of the handouts started by Johnson, but I think in time this will reverse. Black unemployment is at an all-time low under this president and I believe more and more African Americans are starting to see the truth. Most black people would disagree with that, as evidenced by a closer look at Candace Owens views on race relations. Race relations
Owens is known for her criticism of Black Lives Matter.[4][27][28][29] She has described Black Lives Matter protesters as "a bunch of whiny toddlers, pretending to be oppressed for attention."[30] Owens has argued that African Americans have a "victim mentality" and often refers to the Democratic Party as a "plantation".[21][27] She has argued that the American left "like black people to be government-dependent".[31] Owens has argued that black people have been brainwashed to vote for Democrats.[3] She has argued that police violence against black people is not about racism.[27][30] According to The Guardian and The Daily Beast, Owens has referred to police killings of black people as a trivial matter to African Americans.[21][8]
After the 2017 Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, Owens said that concern over rising white nationalism was “stupid”.[5]
Have you seen the graphs of black unemployment for the last 10 years? The decline started under Obama and has continued to the same degree under Trump, nothing to indicate that any of his policies (whatever they could be) have accelerated that trend.I think she is making positive traction with her black communities. Trump's pro-business policies, aggressive deregulation and GOP tax bill are having a direct effect on the economy. Obama regulations were choking the American economy. Trump's swift actions to undo Obama's efforts spurred the economy and encouraged businesses to create jobs.Have you seen the graphs of black unemployment for the last 10 years? Doesn’t really seem like you addressed the meat of his point. Just a fact. His policies and removing Obama's regulation policies has more to do with unemploymentDoesn’t really seem like you addressed the meat of his point. You ignored it and said something good about Trump.
But that doesn’t address his point of Trumps trajectory being the same as Obama’s, or more specifically a continuation of Obama’s.Just a fact. If you understood economics you would have a different point of view.
The fact is that statistics show that the trend of black unemployment dropping has continued to the same degree as it did under Obama, it has absolutely nothing to do with removing regulation policies or any action of Trump. Nothing.
You ignore facts, statistics and graphs and then have the audacity to say I don't understand economics? If you understood economics you would have a different point of view.
In fairness, it should be noted the decline in the overall unemployment rate during the Obama Administration occurred over seven years, and President Trump has only been in office for 19 months Still, it's a fact that black and Hispanic unemployment is at its lowest in history and that occurred under Trump's watch. There is a lot at play and I don't think presidents should get all the credit for the unemployment rate however. You ignore facts, statistics and graphs and then have the audacity to say I don't understand economics?
But you can't get around the fact (as Toshiba noted) of Trumps trajectory being the same as Obama’s, or more specifically a continuation of Obama’s.In fairness, it should be noted the decline in the overall unemployment rate during the Obama Administration occurred over seven years, and President Trump has only been in office for 19 months
Like I said, there are a lot of factors at play with the unemployment rate, but Trump's deregulation and GOP tax bill has helped the economy in such a way that Obama couldn't. People have more money in their pockets today than they did under Obama. That is a fact. But you can't get around the fact (as Toshiba noted) of Trumps trajectory being the same as Obama’s, or more specifically a continuation of Obama’s.
This is the most ridiculous conversation, it has nothing to do with what Sharpton said. You and the other fellow raised it but you’re relying on the Breitbart link and you apparently have no clue why Sharpton said what he said.Like I said, there are a lot of factors at play with the unemployment rate, but Trump's deregulation and GOP tax bill has helped the economy in such a way that Obama couldn't. Somehow I think I moved on to another conversation and left big Al at the last truck stop when he went to use the bathroom. This is the most ridiculous conversation, it has nothing to do with what Sharpton said. Yes almost as if it was never a serious point, seeing as how he’s just a drive by commentator while his counterpart on the right Big Don is promoted all the way to the most powerful job in the world.Somehow I think I moved on to another conversation and left big Al at the last truck stop when he went to use the bathroom.
