Top five recruits from Ohio
1 Sean Clifford PSU
2 Josh Myers OSU
3 Jerron Cage OSU
4 Amir Riep OSU
5 Matt Bockhorst Clemson

@mattbockhorst

I may be ranked behind 3 Ohio State commits, but on the bright side that's more points than they scored the entire game against the Tigers

?
Wow, he and his 3 stars are so clever.  I hope he enjoys the view for the next few years below Ohio State in the rankings.

Check out Tim Brewster's twitter.  Also Josh Newberg is all over it.  I hope they're all wrong.  I thought this was all LSU,  but as of now it looks real bad.
I did see the Brewster tweet. I guess that makes me feel good but who knows.

Whatever brewster is being paid, it isn't enough. He's a one man band.

The kids leaving this year are going to Arizona St, Utah, and Nevada.
Those aren't great programs and many have had to go the JUCO route.

I'm not really knocking him for it. I mean, I kinda wish Jimbo would do it. It is indisputably ####ty though.

I think the BOL guys are the best at forecasting realistically, and the main guy just picked:

Bama - Ray (#26), Ruggs (#77), Devonta Smith (#64), Parks (#93)

Michigan - Solomon (#25)

Many go to JUCO's when they don't qualify, yes.  Last year we had a 5-star CB leave to a JUCO, now he's going to Ohio State.

Plus they landed Mathis (#99) earlier this afternoon.   That'd be 29.  Crazy.

Maryland football’s 2017 recruiting class was just about set heading into National Signing Day. Breyon and Brandon Gaddy had already announced they weren’t flipping to Florida, and Tariq Castro-Fields was the only recruit Maryland appeared to be waiting for.

But the Terps have received a surprise commitment, as three-star wide receiver Tahj Capehart has flipped his commitment from Virginia Tech to Maryland.

Finally getting some SEC caliber linemen back on campus(thanks OBC).
Weird seeing South Carolina picking up 6 out of the top 8 recruits in-state. A lot of that has to do with the growth of Clemson's recruiting foot print and relatively small class, but still good to see Muschamp delivering on his goal of winning in-state recruiting

We'll have a small class next year too / supposed to top out probably around 16 or so recruits, but could be our most star studded if things drop the right way.

Parks taking a grayshirt from Alabama. Some of these kids are just flat-out insane.
Yeah, but apparently Saban has a button that closes the door so you can't really blame them.

And of course they are Bama, so there's that and I get it, but man the numbers are just nuts.  So many really good players have no shot to play there.

That's crazy. How many recruits has Bama taken the past 5 years?  I swear it seems like they take the max 25 every year and just throw out who doesn't work for them after a season.

It doesn't seem like that. It is literally what they do.

Parks will be at a JUCO or some low-level program not in the south come 2019.

Yeah just looked. 120 players in the past 5 seasons, when max roster is 85.
