FSU should be around the top-5 which is good enough for me. That's the extent of my following this stuff now.
Top 5 or so are pretty much interchangeable. I enjoy following it so getting the #1 class would be fun, but it's not gonna change the way I perceive the class.

LSU has a chance to hold on to #1. I think after that, obviously Bama and maybe Georgia have a shot at it. I don't think OSU is expecting any more big time commits so they probably won't take it. Do you know how many commits Bama is going to take this year?
It's much less clear this year than in a while...but I'd guess 8 more to 25.
Well if Bama gets most of their targets, that should put them at the top. I think you'd get 3 more 5* and the rest 4*. That's not even counting Gary, who looks like Michigan to me.

The big undecideds, with current Crystal Ball percentages:

1. DT Rashan Gary - MIchigan 78%, Bama 18%

9. DT Derrick Brown - UGA 84%, Auburn 16%

10. LB Ben Davis - Bama 100%

11. LB Mique Juarez - UCLA 71%, Ole Miss 21%

13. Ath Mecole Hardman - UGA 78%, Bama 11%

14. WR Demetrius Robertson - ND 44%, UGA 33%, Bama 17%

15. LB Lyndell Wilson - Bama 82%, UGA 5%

19. DE Jeffery Simmons - Ole Miss 45%, Miss St 36%

21. CB Kristian Fulton - LSU 100%

22. CB Jack Jones - USC 84%, UCLA 16%

25. LB Caleb Kelly - Oklahoma 96%

31. OT Landon Dickerson - FSU 69%, VT 15%

38. WR AJ Brown - Miss St 83%, Bama 17%

40. S Brandon Jones - TAMU 73%, Texas 27%

43. WR Nate Craig-Myers - AU 67%, FSU 18%, UF 11%
Clemson getting last official for Gary, so... Clemson 1%.

It could go a lot of different ways, including losing most...should be the first real exciting Signing Day we've had since '08.

UCLA has a lot of players deciding in the next day or so.

These are the last guys they are in on:

1. Mique Juarez - LB (5 star - #11 composite overall)

2. Devin Asiasi - TE/DE (4 star - #74)

3. Boss Tagaloa - DT (4 star - #106)

4. Aaron Hansford - WR (4 star - #143)

5. Garrett Rand - DT (4 star - #184)

6. Brandon Burton - S (4 star - #193)

7. Audie Omotosho - WR (4 star - #189)

8. Brandon Stephens - RB (3 star - #408)

9. Francisco Perez - OT (3 star - #644)

ETA new recruit:

10. Maxs Tupai - DE (4 star - #295) - not signing until next week

Apparently, it would be a shock if Tagaloa, Burton, Stephens and Perez didn't sign with UCLA on Wednesday. West coast people think they'll also land Juarez and Hansford. Asiasi sounds 50/50 between UCLA and Southern Cal. And, UCLA's not expected to get Rand or Omotosho.

If they close with everyone except Asiasi, it would be great. If they close with everyone they are hoping to get (there aren't any realistic hopes on Rand or Omotosho), then it would be a fantastic class, likely around #8 or so, depending on the service.

I love NSD, but the pay walls on the sites are annoying. I generally just browse the free stuff on 247/rivals/scout. I wish one of them would go free.

Do we have a premadona this year that is going to wait to sign after NSD?

I think most of them usually do a free one week trial, which you could use for this week. I believe Scout is doing some special now and 247 and Rivals usually have free trials available.

Just follow tomahawk nation. Guy is a bit of a tool but he does a great job and it's all free.

So OU had their first outright B12 title since 2010 and an appearance in the CFB playoff and they're struggling to land a Top 20 class. :wall:

I don't think he's a primadonna, but Maxs Tupai, DE (4 star - #295 overall), just announced he will not sign tomorrow and will visit UCLA this weekend instead and sign next week.

UCLA wasn't even recruiting him until a couple weeks ago. He was thought to be down to Southern Cal and Utah. As long as academics check out, I would think deciding to wait and OV UCLA would bode well for UCLA's chances as long as he enjoys his visit.

Sounds like there's some Asiasi major buzz for Michigan tomorrow. I hope not, but it's a great option. Great school, tradition, and coach with history of churning out NFL TEs.

Here we go with unpredictability...

Audie Omotosho to UCLA. Nobody at UCLA thought they had a chance.

been there, done that. will believe it when i see it <_<
I think you should feel confident. If I get info to the contrary, I'll post. Sounds fluid, honestly, but Michigan is getting the most buzz.

Baylor is really the class of the Big 12 at this point.
I'm not sure about that. It looks like they have a lot of 3 stars. Average star rating not top 20. I don't like how they rate quantity over quality
Was making a general comment not specific to this recruiting class.

LSU needs to pull Fowler out of Texas. 50/50 right now, but he's the most important guy for the Tigers tomorrow. I might have to start drinking early tomorrow.

Watching the fallout from losing Fowler on the LSU boards is making me embarrassed to follow this stuff. Grown men shouting in unison about how trashy the family is because the kid picked the home school. Sure, he could have given LSU coaches a heads up, but this is recruiting, and this is how it goes sometimes. Some of the things being said are just pathetic. Predictable, but pathetic.

Its ridiculous that grown men will say things like that about kids. Happens all over. Absurd.

I wish I didn't know anything about recruiting. This is one area where the internet has made my life a lot worse.

aTm is just falling apart. Guess all that taking over Texas talk is subsiding.
Can't be any worse than whats happened to Miss State. We can only take 20 this class...we've had 19 decommits with this class. This is just crazy.

Apparently we even have OV's left over. I still like Mullen, but from being number #1 two seasons ago to finishing about 40 in the polls he's just dropped the ball.

Yeah, it's still fun though.
