***OFFICIAL NFC CHAMPIONSHIP THREAD*** Eagles going to the Bowl!!!! (1 Viewer)

Linval Joseph generally makes it pretty difficult to run and the ends play pretty strong contain. Not going to be easy to run.

Bears game was likely one of the Vikings better games against the run all season and Jaleel Johnson did play in that game. Hoping for similar result.

The Eagles offensive line is pretty good though.A lot beter than what the Bears had week 17 and likely better than the Saints, although the Saints linemen are pretty good as well.

If Joseph has a good game it will be difficult to get any runs going.

If Sharif Floyd were healthy the DT rotation would be a lot better than it is. But he didn't recover from surgery and hasn't played for two seasons now. Thus playing time for Stephen and Johnson instead. Floyd was very good when he played. Very difficult to block him.

Oh well.

I was just thinking about him when you were describing the rest of D Line and wondering what the heck happened to him.

If Reggie White was next to Cox the Vikes wouldn’t stand a chance.

I just hope we have a shot at the end. A solid start and an early lead would be huge.

As a Vikings fan, I'm really all over the place with how I feel this game will go. I waiver back and forth between tempered optimism and Purple PTSD.

My main concern right now is pass rush. I just can't get the image out of my head of Keenum being under constant pressure and either taking too many sacks or throwing an ill-timed INT. The Viking's pass rush does not seem to be as potent as earlier in the year, but that is probably somewhat due to Everson's plantar fasciitis. He was a monster the first half of the year, getting at least a sack a game and leading the league in QB pressures IIRC.

I don't expect the Vikes to be able to run the ball very effectively. Especially if they try to run it straight at the Eagles on first and second down with Latavius. I'd much rather see more play action on first down or delayed runs with McKinnon out of the shotgun (or a few run-pass option themselves!).  Additionally, I hope Shurmur can call some screen plays that can work with Easton out.  I honestly wonder if they toned the screen play calling down lately to unleash it when it counts, or if Easton was just that important to making it work?

Anyway, should be a monster of a game.  Rarely do teams meet in the conference championship with 2nd and 3rd stringers at QB.

Get hyped eagles fans.  The day is finally here.  Could barely sleep last night.  I don't have tix but we're going down to tailgate.  Can't wait to be in that atmosphere.

E A G L E S    EAGLES!!!!!!!!!

I thought Murray looked real good on outside stretch runs last week against the Saints.  Looked fast and hit the second level surprisingly quick. Those were the same runs the Coleman and the Falcons were killing Philly with last week before they decided to abandoned that in the 2h(until the final drive)

Up the middle dives with Murray will absolutely kill Minnesota if that's the route they take but they should be able to exploit the outside especially with their run blocking receivers.

My 6 year old daughter asked me why the Vikings have an opera singer for a mascot!!! I about peed myself! She said Swoop is much better and that the Birds will win 9-6! Smart kid!!

As a Vikings fan, I will say that if Jax beats NE in the early game, I’ll feel like a winner regardless of the outcome of this game.

That was the absolute worst bit ever, with Rob Riggle and Packer from The Office. I've never seen worse, cheesier impressions.

Frank Caliendo got old immediately but he was actually talented at least. Wow. I'm embarrassed for those guys
