#1 = $3 million average

now = about $2 million on average
Could be way more if they're not factoring in the signing bonus.

Rodgers will go @ 10. DET isnt married to Harrington anymore. I don't agree that NO is a "win-now" team, and they very well could be trading up.

Maybe GB is making a move? Very doubtful.

Looking back on the Moss trade the Vikings look terible.

WR Randy Moss for MLB Nap Harris and WR Troy Williamson :P

THanks for giving the Packers the NFC North Title :D

I'm sick of hearing how the Vikings screwed themselves in the Moss trade. Frankly I find it very similar to the Shaq trade. You have a one-of-a-kind athlete who literally can do things that no one else who plays that game can. Thus, the idea of equal value is preposterous. You're not going to get equal value in a trade for either of these guys because no one else can do what they can. What you should do (and the teams tried to do) is just hang on to the player. Of course things change drastically when the players in question don't want to play any more. Then you're in the crappiest position in the world. You have the ultimate weapon on your team BUT HE DOESN'T WANT TO PLAY. It's a lose/lose situation. If you keep him you bite a huge salary cap bullet and the guy won't even play to his full capability. Of course, if you trade him you're not going to receive equal value in return and he actually will start playing to his full capability for his new team. There really is no solution. That's why people like us can criticize and deride the Lakers and Vikings endlessly for what they did, because they could not have done anything right in their situations. So the Vikings traded Moss and received unequal value in return. Should we really be that surprised?

I guess Rodgers could go here...or maybe Detroit (although that makes little sense to me, with Harrington and Garcia). But I think Washington trades down if they want Rodgers.

Do you think SD is trying to trade with Wash to get MW?Any chance Brees gets moved here?Makes sense from both sides imo.

For all the Rodgers to Det and GB fans....do you forget that Detroit signed Garcia and GB is the ultimate win now team with a horrible defense? How do you justify Rodgers to either of those teams?

The entire Saints Front Office and Haslett has their collective head firmly up Brooks' butt. No way that happens.

I'm in shock.Rodgers I would've at least understood.Even Merriman I wouldn't have minded. But CB is overrated in today's NFL. To pass up Mike Williams is ####### ######ed. I'm officially a Ravens fan first, Redskins fan second now.

Exactly. Plus the Saints top three players are all in their prime right now. Very much a win now team.

As I continue to use the draft selection of Mike Williams to reveal the true insight of a team...if Williams goes to Detroit, what does that say about Charles Rogers? The NFC North doesn't play any defense anyway. Why not line up Kevin Jones, Charles Rogers, Mike Williams, Roy Williams and Cory Schlesinger?Detroit lacks a good TE and a good third WR anyway. I think Williams might be the best pick for them here.

I dont think Ive ever read an intelligent statement which had the phrase "head firmly up ______ butt".Three players in their prime does nothing to determine the path of a team's draft needs.
