2 very entertaining games last night. (y)
Bob stole that one for FLA.
Pavelski a one-man wrecking crew. Those 2 tips were outrageous! :excited: I expected him to get the OT winner.

It's home ice disadvantage this year.

Before the game tonight, I thought the Panthers were going to the finals. They are only a year removed from winning the President’s trophy, they made a huge trade in the off-season, and they have a mix of talented youth and heady vets.

I thought Toronto was gonna beat the Bruins, I was fading the Bruins because of Linus and old guys. Didn’t think Florida had a chance and then I watched that game 5, and realized Bruins had their hands full.

Carolina is very good, so is Toronto. I think Panthers are team to beat.

I can't disagree. If we had Max and Andrei, I would lean Canes but Tkachuk is just built for playoff hockey. Plus I will always love Coach Mo.

Obviously would have preferred Montreal win but glad he's not in Arizona or out west anywhere, really. At least he's only 1 timezone behind. The Hawks sure lucked out. First, by not getting their 1st round pick taken away due to the sanctions and second, they have no down years with no elite player. I suppose third is winning the lottery in the appropriate year. Last year's first would be this year's 10th best... if that.

For the most part it's great that hockey players are so down to earth and the very opposite of rabble rousers.
But wouldn't it be great if he flat out said no way I'm playing for that organization?
Between the horrific abuse and the continued use of Native American imagery he'd certainly have the moral high ground.

So ****ing rigged. No way CHI wasn;t going to get it. Why do they never show the drawing live?
Much harder to rig it when it is on live TV.
so I just saw the drawing on nhl.com. Do not understand why that is not televised.

Because they wouldn't be able to announce it in reverse order.
Sure they could.
Worst chance gets the most balls. Best chance gets one ball.

Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog will undergo a cartilage transplant in his right knee on May 10. The surgery will be performed by Dr. Brian Cole at the Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. The 30-year-old forward is expected to miss the entire 2023-24 season.

He is done. This sucks. My favorite player and the only jersey I own.

I've met Cole socially and medically. He's aggressive.

I've had 4 shoulder surgeries--2 on each. Unfortunately, both rotator cuffs are torn again. John Hefferon (Jordan's surgeon and featured on The Last Dance) did all 4 and looked at the MRIs after the most recent tears. Hefferon said my shoulders are inoperable now.

I went to Cole who looked at the same MRIs and said he could do the surgeries. After consulting with another surgeon, I decided not to proceed.

Don't buy this at all. They could show the balls being drawn. Confirm with that accounting judge the winning number. That judge behind a partician could put them in order taking a minute and hand them over to be revealed.

All inside that room I saw had the sheets with all the team combos on it..

This would end #fixed trending every year.

are you in a lot of pain?

The Ducks made NHL and CHL history on Tuesday, becoming the first team to have its prospects win the Defenseman of the Year award in all three Canadian Hockey Leagues.
Olen Zellweger completed the sweep Tuesday afternoon, joining fellow Anaheim prospects Pavel Mintyukov (OHL) and Tristan Luneau (QMJHL).

I feel bad for Connor Bedard. He should have a celebratory moment, as a phenom preparing to save a dilapidated franchise. Instead, the NHL Draft is in Nashville, so the locals will boo Chicago anyway. And now everyone else likely joins them because we’re angry karma isn’t real.

God I hate that the Lightning lost to those bozos.
I wrote my boys off, they can't beat the Rangers, Boston, or TB. Amazing how the first round opened things up. I have no idea how the Canes will do against FL but a solid goalie seems so much more valuable then rentals.

Dave hakstol was like the worst coach in nhl history with the flyers and now he has the kraken on the verge of the conference finals in their first year of existence?

- the drunken ramblings of the casualest of nhl fans

I have been informed that this actually seattles second year.

Also, why is that oilers game on at 10 tomorrow night? Why can’t they put it in earlier?

Thank you NHL for having the worst negotiators in history by having this game at the worst possible time ever.

WTF.

HEY NHL YOU HAVE THE BEST PLAYOFF SPORT AVAILABLE SO WHY SETTLE FOR THIS **** SPOT.
