Both of his skates were off the ice and the rule clearly states that is not off sides. Ducks are on the wrong end of these calls like 99% of the time.

didn’t look off the ice to me and one of the few beneficial scenarios these lame replays were put in place for :shrug:

Guy goes right from Enterprise car rental commercials to the front office. Bettman needs to do something about this pro-Canadian bias.
 
The Wild looking really offensively challenged right now. I see other teams whipping pucks at the net and crashing for a rebound but we’re always trying some tic-tac-toe stuff. With Fiala gone and Hartman out, it’s pretty thin out there.
 
NJD win in OT. Their 11th Straight. Now tied with the Bruins the best record in the league. Bringing back the memories of the 90s. I’m sure this can’t last, right?

So close. Bruins are 15-2. Devils are 14-3.

Still, a heck of a run by the Devils. Anybody who beats the Leafs is ok in my book.
 
I can not believe how good the B’s look…Montgomery has made an incredible difference…their style of play is dramatically different (and so entertaining) and they are showing some high-end skill throughout the roster that was not expected…Lindholm is a complete stud…Sweeney has had more than his share of screw-up’s but getting him and inking him to a long-term contract has been a home run.

I was watching a different game and turned into this one later just after NJ scored their one goal that stood. Goalies are such divers. Pretty big spill he took after the light brush past after he played the puck. I get why this was called tho. I also don't love the kicking motion call when it was not directed towards the net. Just happened to ricochet but if that's the rule, then that's the rule.

Regarding the one where Bastien (I think) hit Murray's skate in the crease was one of those flip a coin calls they have for many Goalie interference situations. Similar play happened later in the VAN/COL game. Vancouver had one called back that was similar. Light bump in the crease, player exists crease moments before a shot goes in. At least they called this one the same, I thought.

NJ is a fun team to watch!
 
Devils. Man, it's a really weird feeling for me to see my team down 2-0 early on and to still be pretty confident that they'll end up winning the game.
 
Can someone who didn't throw a chair through their television at the end of the Pens/Canes game and wasn't able to hear any "analysis" explain what happened.

these Sabres scoring goals but remaining in the Bedard lottery mix. seems like a good strategy.

Sabres may have won the O'Reilly trade with the way Tage is looking.

He has been very bad this year. Although he "only" gave up 4 of the 9 goals in that game (Quick started), Most of those 4 were shots that he should have stopped. They were from bad angles with no screens that he was off his mark. He has been like that all year.
