**OFFICIAL NJ ONLINE GAMBLING THREAD*** (1 Viewer)

Thought about doing this tge other day but saw some articles that seem to indicate that there weren't many players.

What's the deal. Can I just play on regular party poker? Are the games normal or are they super rocky like the post neteller days?
I didn't play online poker in the old days (i.e. before it was legal here in NJ).

Party has a regular schedule - there's not a massive number of tourneys but there's enough to grind through, at least in my opinion. Not a large base of player but pretty regular. I have found it beatable of late. I'm usually playing $2, $5 and $10 tourneys - dunno if that's the level you prefer.

It's not regular party poker - it is NJ only.

My personal opinion is that there are too many outlets with poker compared to the overall size of the poker market at this point - I understand they are trying to combine with other states in some way - I am not sure if that is just for things like slot jackpots or if that's poker too. I'm really not sure how they'll be able to do that without running afoul of fed stuff.

I had no issue doing a deposit with my credit card - that does seem to vary by the bank you use.

Personally, I think it's a great time to be playing as there are still some very good overlays. You'll get $2000 prize pool guarantee tournaments where the entries total up to only $1500, stuff like that. At the very beginning it was pretty much all overlays, that's happening less on the weekend now as it's built up a bit more. But good bang for the buck IMO.

Now if you're strictly a cash player, that may be a different circumstance, I don't know if the spreads will be to your liking

I still have my borgata account... started with 50 only up to about 200. I haven't looked around at other sites and I haven't logged in in awhile... about same as before not a ton of people.

I did get hit with a cash advance fee on my credit card though

Yeah - that is the bummer part of the deposit. It also factors into any of the offers they are making that would give a bonus on a new deposit. Working the math I figured that I could clear the whole bonus (based on my current level of play) only if I deposited $10 (the higher the deposit, the more points it would require to clear). Not worth the cash advance fee to me to deposit $10 in the account to try and nab another $10 in bonus $.
