Anyone done this facebook/instragram filter thing?   There's a location in Seattle that I'm going to check out tomorrow to see what it is.

Some guy on twitter found the Seattle site, but didn't know what to do.   Guess he just stood there and looked at it.
Here's the site in Seattle: https://www.google.com/maps/@47.6155892,-122.3499257,3a,75y,134.08h,107.79t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sq9IOp7oPpIma1jFN5JCHyw!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?hl=en

Parking lot on 1st and Vine. Looks like you gotta just turn on the AR filter in Instagram (or FB) and look at that wall and the waterfalls animate.

If the weather stops totally sucking I will check out and report back.

If this is a NA tour it looks like it'll be the kind with designated Beer breaks (political rants). Glass half full!

I have a meeting near there today. I’ll probably swing by and check it out.

It will be. Looks like not much Midwest if the rumors are solid.

Just wait til the Fall for the politics.

May try for this stretch.... maybe Fly up for Ottawa>Montreal
Probably only going to be able to one show this time, which sucks. Bad timing. Was hoping it would be in the fall, and then I would have done a few. So I'm looking at Nashville or one of the Canada shows.

Official now

Rooms Booked for Nashville, St Louis, Ottawa, and Quebec City.

Still debating which shows I'm going to make a stab at. Possibly all 4. Looks like GA is going to be much easier in Canada.

Weirdest thing.    I use an old gmail account and it forwards everything (including spam) to my current account.   It's been set up this way for years.   Logged into it directly and it has two emails in it.  One from 2014 and my ten club code from today.

Woot!

Would love to hit the Phoenix show. It looks like buying tickets is a hassle. I understand what they are trying to do but its almost to much work to get a ticket. I will look into it when I have time but I doubt I have tie to jump through the hoops they have set up.

Could be I am cranky because I have to go to work. I just registered for the verified fan ticket sale. Was not that big a deal. Now I guess I just wait and see?

Says it's the "first leg" of the North American tour.
Yep, there were Fall rumors while all this was going on.  Hopefully my source is good, but I'm hearing at minimum one Ohio show for people in that vicinity.  My personal thought is they're going to be heavy in some of the important election states.

Hotel booked for St. Louis.

Really looking forward to some new music from the band.  A little bummed I will only have a week with the new album before the show.

It took about 5 minutes for the ten club tickets and less than that for verified fan.

I was worried second leg would be May and early June - before Europe. Late summer and fall would work way better for my schedule. I could probably hit multiple shows then. Fingers crossed.

Looks like you'll be able to sell your 10 Club tickets if you put in for a show but can't go:

Pearl Jam has partnered with Ticketmaster to make sure fans get their tickets at face value. To achieve this, Pearl Jam has directed that tickets be non-transferable.* On the night of the show, all guests will be required to enter with the ticket purchaser. For fans that cannot use the tickets they have purchased, Pearl Jam and Ticketmaster will offer a Fan-to-Fan Face Value Ticket Exchange* beginning February 18. There will be no additional fees charged to Exchange users for buying or selling tickets on the Exchange.
Folks on the PJ forums seem to have gotten confirmation that this applies to 10 Club tix. (The "non-transferable" part just means you can't give your 10C tix to someone else or sell them outside the exchange. If you get rid of them via the exchange, then the tix are sold, not transferred.) There's some speculation about whether this will increase the number of people who put in for shows for the hell of it, thinking they can just sell the tickets later.

Alot of people can't make decisions on tickets in the timeframe PJ and other bands afford us after making announcements/setting ticket deadlines.  Sounds like the speculation would be dead on as this seems to help those people who otherwise probably don't/can't commit.

Is it clear if the "buyer" has to be 10 Club?

It seems that the general public can buy tix on the exchange, even if the tix are 10 Club seats. The thread I found is here:

I think the catch here is that the "exchange" is digital and the bar code is updated every two seconds therefore a screenshot can be sent from a scalper outside the venue, therefore more "fans" will get tickets at face value rather than bots..  did that make sense?

Side note, wife and I put in for SD-Oakland run.  we are a 5 digit fan club number so hoping that keeps up with the good/better seats.  Nothing beats the 2000 and subsequent tours when 10C seats were awesome!  We did put in for GA for night two of LA and Oakland.  This would be my last chance to be able to wait in line to get a spot on the rail.

Officially entered:

US SHOWS:
#1 St Louis (28% pit odds)
#2 Nashville (28%)

CAN SHOWS:
#1 Ottawa (75% pit odds)
#2 Quebec City (99%)

If QC comes too far off 99% I'll probably flip CAN priority to guarantee pit at least one night. If it doesn't change much, odds look good for both nights.

Not expecting much Pit luck in the US.

Good luck GB's!

Imagine going to the first show and being completely surprised by the new music. Not sure if good or bad.
I know some people love experiencing new music live, but not me.  I like to know the songs I'm listening to in concert.  I will have the album on a constant loop for that week.

So you just requested the general public ticketmaster sale?  If you aren't already a member of the 10club it is too late to get 10Club member tickets.
yes just general public. Thanks for info on 10club. Guess theres no need to join now. Just have to hope I get lucky.

There may be a second leg of the tour.  You'd be able to get into the lottery for those tickets through the 10club.  You get better tickets through the club, but they set the deadline the day before tickets are announced, so you have to be an ongoing member to get in.

If there is no second leg, or they don't go to a city you want to go to (no idea where the second leg might go other than pacific northwest, and likely more shows in the east).  If you miss out, its not a huge investment.

good point. Thanks.

only gonna be able to swing Nashville.  I'm putting Jazz Fest as a 50/50 shot as well (schedule gets announced later this week).
I put in for Nashville too.
If I go We should grab a beer GB.

Loved the GA odds for Ottawa and Quebec City (like 60% and 75%). Fingers crossed for at least one.

Also made the jump and officially put in for STL and Nash even though I'm not 100% sure I'm going given CAN shows will run ~$3k by the time it's said and done.

IF I don't go to one or both I'll have tix available via the resale market wth decent 10C number (400k).

Wish I never let it lapse when they started charging. Guessing I was one of the first 5-7k folks (got Let me Sleep on vinyl w pics and crap when I wrote in about 10C). Woulda had front row for life

I remember looking through the liner notes for Ten with a buddy back in the day (for the cassette we had) and noticed the address to mail in for the fan club.  We joked about it, but little did I know he actually sent in the SASE and joined the club.  He liked to wave to me from the front row of the few shows we went to together with our own tickets.  I didn't join until mid 90s, but let it lapse.  :kicksrock:
