Fg this drive I would thinkSomeones going to get a garbage TD right now... Defense on an Eli pick or ......
Regardless of where people come down on this philosophy, what cant be done is running a two yard dump off.Giants have to realize they need to score, not get a touchdown. Get in FG position as fast as possible and kick a FG
You should see his thighs...38% of Eli's throws have gone to Barkley. Thats ridiculous.
(no I won't stop talking about Barkleys targets)
We saw this in the game the other night. Kick the fg!33 yard line? KICK THE FG.
Trying to cover the spread.Giants are trying to get a TD I hate that... come on.
Unfortunately there's a lot of Dallas on TV this year.On a day full of great NFL games, this wasn’t one of them. I hope nether of these teams are in TV again in 2018.
Giants may not win more games than they did last year. They Better draft a qb top 5 next year.Well they tried a speed onside where the ball bounces back towards the Giants. Didn't work.
Oh well Giants travel to Houston, they have issues.
Wouldn't help with the line issues... Halapio getting hurt is an killer. IF you don't have 3 seconds to do anything you ain't moving the O.Giants may not win more games than they did last year. They Better draft a qb top 5 next year.
Well I guess I AM INTERESTED in how Dak Prescott relives the Golden age of Trent Dilfer.Unfortunately there's a lot of Dallas on TV this year.On a day full of great NFL games, this wasn’t one of them. I hope nether of these teams are in TV again in 2018.
If I were you, I’d be pondering how you’re going to fix both your defense AND your offense.
gotta agree with this, and i think it is smart the Giants didn't draft one in the 1st round this year. Get David Carr all over again. Draft a QB behind a horrible OL and basically ruin his career.Wouldn't help with the line issues... Halapio getting hurt is an killer. is this serious? you guys had a 70 yard bomb and one good drive. If I were, I’d be pondering how you’re going to fix both your defense AND your offense.
If getting your secondary lit up like a Christmas tree in the Super Bowl wasn’t enough, you got torched by a backup QB this week. And your offense has been unimpressive.
I don’t know why you’re laughing, LOL.

We’ll see how we do, but like I said, I think you guys have other things to concern yourself with.is this serious? you guys had a 70 yard bomb and one good drive.
Honestly, i like when the Cowboy win because i love seeing you guys get your hopes up like you actually have a solid team now. It is so much better to see your souls sucked out the next week when reality kicks in again
Only thing is, it's easier to draft a franchise qb in the top 5 picks than it is a top Oline. You could spend a year or two building a great line, but then you don't have any top picks for a QB. Almost better to get your franchise QB when given the rare chance to have a top 5 pick, and then spend FA, Trade, many other picks, etc building the line. If they have a top 5 pick next year I'd be blown away if they didn't use it on a QB.gotta agree with this, and i think it is smart the Giants didn't draft one in the 1st round this year. LOL. You’re slowly changing your tune on Rico.![]()
Our offense will be fine. Yours won't.
We won the Super Bowl and you're taking a shot at our team in that game hahaha wow.
Rico had a great game tonight. 2 targets and no catches. Might catch 4 balls in his career at this rate. But hey, stick with it. #UltimateStash
yeah, this is a good point. Worked with Indy, sine they rarely ever get a top 5 pick. when they did they grabbed Luck. So yeah if Giants don't think they will be near again it may have been the right move. But of course, you create a QB controversy anytime you lose so maybe they just didn't want that headacheOnly thing is, it's easier to draft a franchise qb in the top 5 picks than it is a top Oline. Yes, we do have to fix our offense. That isn't correlated to how your offense is doing though. "Ya well you sucked in the super bowl game you won last year!" is an irrelevant (and hilarious) response to someone saying your offense/team is in trouble. We’ll see how we do, but like I said, I think you guys have other things to concern yourself with.
I still wouldn't keep a 4 career catch guy on my fantasy roster and brag about it over and over.LOL. You’re slowly changing your tiune on Rico.
At one point, he was getting cut & out of the NFL. Now it’s 4 career catches.
You’re finally starting to wake up.
BTW, I didn’t take the first shot.![]()

Ya, I just think Eli is done. I don't see him leading a team deep into the playoffs again in his career. Would be surprised if the Giants do, but never know.yeah, this is a good point. Pretty bang on here.Impartial observations of the nfc east.
Eagles will win it but have to get wentz healthy to do any playoff damage against real teams.
Wash and Dal are middling and might on occasion look like real nfl teams.
Giants are loaded at skill positions and their lb look good, empty everywhere else. Coach and front office picture not looking bright.
for me, i don't hate the pick of Barkley. Like all of you Giants' fans in here discussed tonight, without a dependable OL, or a coordinator who can work with a weak OL, it wouldn't have made a huge difference. I just hope they don't get Barkley killed before his rookie contract is up, if they start putting 8 in the box regularlyIn a vacuum, sure.
But in this case Gettleman didn't think any of the QBs (maybe after Mayfield who was drafted before the Giants picked) was a surefire, franchise QB and in Barkley he saw a generational talent that can change the makeup of a team.
It's fine not to agree with him (and despite the rantings of some (many) Giants fans and some (many) in the football media) we won't know if Darnold would have been the right choice for years if ever, but given his thinking, picking Barkley instead of one of the remaining QBs makes sense.
Ya, I'm not necessarily saying they should have gone with a qb THIS year. They got their generational talent and that can be debated but it's not the worst move at all. Just saying if Eli fails to win them more than 4 games this year, they shouldn't pass up on a qb with THAT top 5 pick.In a vacuum, sure.
