Yeah, the Tig chase scene was a bit annoying. Nobody expects reality, but you don't have to flaunt it either.

I think Abraham may be on to something about the cartel having a deal with Potter. It's the most sensible option based on what we know. Romeo has lied to Clay on a number of occasions and this feels like another one.

The Club is pretty dumb to go along with it anyway. You got a First 9 guy saying Otto flipped. Bobby went to go visit Otto and you know he never signed out. Plenty of reasons for caution, despite Romeo.
I live along 580, the freeway that Tig said he was taking to escape Oakland, and that, my friends, was no 580.
It is filmed in So Cal. You should know that with the scenery a long time ago.
The details matter to me. FX can't dole out the sheckels to shoot the thing in the Central Valley. That accident was goofy, Sconch is right. The whole thing (woman being killed after being knocked sideways by the car, Jax's unbelievable shooting accuracy on a motorcycle, the traffic accident) was ridiculous. Re#######diculous.
I remember reading that they film SOA in Sunland-Tujunga. I'm not sure how that is cheaper than filming in the San Joaquin Valley where expenses would be lower. Places like Lodi, Modesto, Bakersfield etc etc would bend over backwards to have a show shot there.

They would but they don't have the people up there to film and whatever costs you save in filming up there would get wiped out by the expense of importing the labor.

I am going to go on a limb and say that they likely do not belong to the right unions.

I predict, probably towards the end, one of their patented montages featuring some slow, heart-felt song.
OMG NO WAI!!
And Jax is going to talk somebody out of doing something and/or talk somebody down.
And Chibbs will continue to be the best character of the show despite not being able to understand every other word he says.:lmao:Z'alroight we dun gun o'er ta duh cluh-ouse mungo jerrah barra tokagowa, eh Jackieboy?

Lame. It would have been hard to top last seasons ending but this felt painfully inadequate. Like they had too many things to clear up and took the easy way out on all of them simply to set the show up for an indefinite run.

Yawn.

As a note, there is no way on earth that CIA agents would be killing people on USA soil in the name of an investigation. Disagree all you want, but agents posing as a cartel using assault weapons on other people isn't happening without them being hung out TI dry.

I enjoyed when they showed Juice watching the Shield. I'll give them this though. They found a decent way to pass the torch, both with the club and the wimmens. Looking forward to next season despite a somewhat disappointing finale to this season.

As long as I've watched this show I've had a hard time understanding what people are saying, Americans and Irish. Weak finale but overall great season.

I kept waiting for Opie to walk into the room at the end but Jacks old lady came in to throw us off and than Jemma. Kinda lame.

What did Jacks say to Tig? Is mush mouth Jack's SGT of ARMS?
From what I can tell the problem isn't what he said to Tig. Tig tried to sit in the first seat, his usual seat, and Jax told him not to. He then looked at Chibbs, which you can't really see because they only show Jax's face, and said he wanted him there and asked him if he was ok with it. Chibbs said he was cool with it and then Tig and Chibbs switched places at the table.

Sepinwall not happy either. Sutter Tweet-rage looming.

But I'm always happy when they get into it with crazy black dudes in Oakland, so there's that next year. I guess. Christ, this is quickly becoming like Lost.

I was hoping that one of the Oakland dudes would have done a retaliation drive by at the clubhouse when Jemma was outside burning the part of the letters implicating her in Jacks dads death.

Because, like most everyone, I don't speak fluent Chibbs, I watch with closed captioning on. Jax looked Tig and told him not to sit there. He asked Chibbs if he was ok with that and Chibbs said yes, knowingly sitting down in Tig's seat.

I thought the whole thing with the women was totally weak. It's a motorcycle club up to their ### in guns & drugs and it looked like 90210 last night with the women in there. Weak, weak, weak.

Meh. Not a surprising ending I suppose. They had 8 zillion irons in the fire and there was no way to deal with all of them. So they chose not to deal with any of them.

This was kind of awkward because the meeting had started and everybody was just sitting there looking down while the women had a stare down. But it had to be done as the transition of head "old-lady" had to be introduced.I've always thought this but never said anything but does anybody else think that the recruits are all a bunch of guys who would be better suited for Dungeon and Dragons. Looking around that table, it looked pretty bare and I couldn't help to think that it would be nice if the recruits who eventually will be members were likable.

This is a great point. There is no reason they couldn't have shown the prospects totally kicking ### at some point...even if it was just for 15 seconds. They make them seem like bumbling, quiet slobs. There must be a reason why they were allowed to be prospects...show us.

at the end, I was noticing how sparse (and weak) the table looked. Piney's dead, Clay is in the hospital and will be either weakened or mutinous on his return, Bobby's in jail, and Opie is MIA at this point. of the guys that were there, Tig and Juice may not be all there mentally/emotionally. so SAMCRO is basically down to 3 die hard members (Jax, Chibbs, Happy).my favorite scene was when Happy walked into the room and saw Jax in the President seat, and had that big ####-eating grin. I like Happy. and I hope he doesn't murder me.
