***OFFICIAL*** Sons of Anarchy Thread (2 Viewers)

I was trying to figure out what book on tape that was being listened to in jail before they whacked the Arian. Anyone have any ideas? I searched some of it but got no results.
from the interview with Kurt Sutter posted above
What's the book on tape you're listening to (as Big Otto) right before you shiv the guy who blinded you? It's actually from an old periodical called The Dublin Review from the 1800s. Quite honestly, what I did is I didn't want to have to pay for anything, so I just Googled "Sons of Anarchy" and went to books that are in the public domain, and I found this great old book that had all these great articles about the hypocrisy of governments. And the sons of anarchy that he talks about are a reference to the rebellious republic. It's actually a fascinating article that was written almost 200 years ago. If you read it, you'd feel like it could have been written today.
Awesome, thanks.

 wow

So many unexpected twists and turns. One of the best finales I've ever seen on tv. I hate that FBI female dog.
Is her getting people killed inadvertently going to be an ongoing season finale tradition?
She's not going to end well.
I would be very surprised if she (ATF Agent) lives past next season.
Your spoiler was talked about in the article as well.

Thanks for the reminder... I made a mental note to go back and read that article but then I misplaced that note. :lmao:

Based on how much I like their programming, I'll certainly be giving Justified a watch. Not sure about Archer though.

That fake tattoo on Weston's chest really cut right to the point. :nerd:
furleywife: that's not really a real tattoo is it?
:lmao:No, but the Black Flag logos on his left arm and right forearm have been there for 20+ years.
The "Search and Destroy" tat on his back is his too. They showed a full episode of Archer after It's Always Sunny at the beginning of the season. It was turrible. Skip it without a second thought.

Just finished watching. When the irishman put the knife to Abel I almost jumped off the couch towards the TV. I have a 18 month daughter so that hit close to home for some reason.

Just watched the finale last night and all I can say is WOW. Can't wait until next season.

It's just too bad that with all the MSM worship of The Sopranos, a show that's 10x better doesn't get ANY mention, and will probably be ignored again come Emmy time next summer.

After watching how little love The Wire got, I've come to expect nothing less from critics.

that finale was just too over the top
 Just watched the finale last night onDemand. I love the fact that the show is "authentic" without worrying about being too realistic. Sometimes, the jumps in logic are hard to swallow with last night being one of them. Why would he just kill Sack? What does he want with a biker baby besides to set up a plot device for season 3? Pretty weak from a show that had been at its best late this season.Still not denying its one of, if not my favorite show to watch airing right now, but its never going to win any emmys. No chance.

Great ending, can't wait for Season 2, hopefully, this will have a decent run like the Shield. Next season's civil war within SAMCRO should be interesting.
Just finished season 1 on DVD, so this is as far as I've read in this thread. LOVE this show.

I need to watch season 1. I didn't watch one episode but caught all of season 2. Something I can do while wating until next September for 3.

We're in the same boat. Any websites you guys recommend DLing the Season 1 on? I hear mininova shut down.

I just finished watching Season 1 on DVD a few months ago. I'll record Season 3 starting in Sept while I get caught up watching Season 2 on DVD (comes out some time in Aug).

I'm actually interested to see how Gemma makes out with the frame job

Would it be awful for me to want the kid to die. I don't want it but the end where they didn't kill Zoebel left a bad taste in my mouth for our friendly neighborhood outlaws

I was thinking they were doing a good job building up this seasons story line but the end :goodposting: holy #### I've missed this show.

I was sitting there thinking 'Ok, so I guess this is going to be a whole set up episode... pretty anti-climatic for a season opener...' and then WHAM! Right smack in the face, leaving you :goodposting:

The relationship between Gemma and her father (Hal Holbrooke) with Alzheimers will be very interesting. It also may begin to explain some of the religious feelings Gemma has been having since Season 1, if her father was a minister. And looks like the Jaxx-Tara relationship will get very interesting.
