The guy who created "Sons of Anarchy" just UNLEASHED THE FURY all over Emmy voters ... claiming they're all "f**king old," out of touch prudes who SCREWED his show out of a nomination.

After the Emmy noms were announced this morning, Kurt Sutter went to Twitter and fired off the following:

"The worse part of not getting an emmy nod. katey [his wife] promised me a threesome if she won. now i have to settle for me, her and the shaved bunny."

"Best part of not getting an emmy nod. now i don't have to pretend i give a s**t about the profiteering ######## academy ... because you know if we were nominated i'd be all humble and blowing smoke up their asses. now i can stay true to myself and just be a d**k."

He continues with a joke -- "These two academy member walk into a bar. one orders a beer. then they both die because they're so f**king old."

And ... "If my mom and dad were alive this emmy snub would kill them. that's not true, they were too old to understand my show. just like the academy."

Sutter also took aim at "Glee" ... writing, "f**k glee. hate those annoying, 'please accept me for who i am', singing brats. there, i said it. are you happy?"

:lmao:
LOVE IT!!!
 :lmao: VROOOM

Completely down with this and jacked up for the 6th.

Hopefully they don't end up in India rescuing a kidnapped Tara from the Sons of Buddha.

Watching the commercials, I think the Jax destroying Sam Cro angle is where this is headed. I wonder how many more seasons this can last. Hopefully at least 1 or 2 more after the 4th.

I hadn't seen this. Great stuff. Glee sucks big time. I hope in 5 years people will look back and realize they were gushing over the 21st Century version of "Cop Rock".

It's about time they finally get back on that storyline. They've been building towards that since the show started. The Irish distraction was not very good.

Amazing start. They don't hold back when they open seasons. So many ways this can go.

I also love how most people would just admit defeat and just try to carve a niche out of what they can in the new Charming but the Sons want to take it right to Hale. This season is going to be a war.

One issue I did have:

Did the Russians not suspect that maybe the sons would betray them again? They already did screw them over once to get revenge on O'Fallon. Did they also not realize that the sons take unusally high risks to get revenge? They screwed over the russians but also killed an ATF agent in broad daylight. I'm sure they had to have heard that through the grapevine. They were pretty trusting in their new business deal with SamCro.

Maybe I'm spoiled by the brilliance of Breaking Bad but last night I felt like I was watching Dukes of Hazzard with gratuitous violence.

This show has never been accused of being cerebral. You can't compare it to Breaking Bad.

I'm sure the Russians expected the Sons to try to force them out at some point, I doubt they would expect it the day after they get out of prison. And at a wedding.

maybe I'm thinking too much, but Jax spitting on the dead Russian doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

The point of dropping off the bodies in front of Hale's development points to a pretty clear picture ahead.

Glad that they didn't just drop Unser off and not use him again.

Fell asleep about 3/4 in.

Did they say why Otto killed himself? Just because he lost everything??

Uh, you missed a lot.
Otto isn't dead.
I came in here to post a similar comment about it being "popcorn" to BB's greatness. But that's okay. SOA is a really enjoyable show that is built more around action then around suspense and tension. I thought last night's episode was really girly up until the end, which brought it back to life. That's how I felt about the finale last year as well. The new season started off like things were going to get boring - seriously, a season about a battle with a land developer? Yawn. But the last 5 minutes brought it back up to speed.

It doesn't seem that AMC and FX aren't going for quite the same thing.Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Killing, Rubicon, The Prisoner.versusSons of Anarchy, Rescue Me, Justified, The Shield, Nip/Tuck. Then throw in IASIP, Wilfred, Louie, Archer, The League. All good shows. But FX skews a little more irreverent/farcical.

That's kind of exactly what it's always been. It's for popcorn, not deep thought.
Agreed. I guess I've been engulfed in BB more so this year so it's tough to transition. In past years, it didn't bother me. For some reason, the season premier did.

This show is pretty inconsistent when it comes to things like that. Remember season 1 when they were worried about Tig's DNA showing up in the bodies of the women that died in the fire? Then they leave fingerprints/DNA/spit whatever all over other crime scenes.

AMerican Horror Story has the potential to be a really good idea. If it has that dark humor / tension of Nip Tuck then I think it could be good. That said, the concept looks really hard to pull off.

As another note: the show was basically 44 minutes (as usual) with a ton of commercials. But only ONE commercial for the Rescue Me series finale? Is the show that bad now?

They hinted at the beginning of a drifting between Tig and Clay. I hope they keep building on that.
I think Clay is going to lose everyone this season, and that's going to open the door for Jax to stay and re-direct the club to where he thinks its supposed to be. Sets up a season ending where he chooses between the club or family.

Yeah there were a crap load of commercials last night. It was unreal. Is Rescue Me still on?

SERIES finale is tonight. Apparently the main characters leave Colleen's wedding to Black Shawn to go fight a monster fire. They end up trapped in the fire, find a door to exit only to realize the door is bricked in and they are stuck. Tonight's promos have been showing a funeral. Seems straight out of Ladder 49...

Commercials? :confused:It's definitely like live-action GTA at times. Police chase them around, but nothing comes of it the next day. People are killed, but no investigation ever seems to take place. No journalists or anything either.
