A couple of years ago I watched a video of a panel discussion with the cast and Sutter. It might have been at ComiCon or something. I got the impression that he really thinks he's making a high-caliber show.See, now THAT is depressing.I don't think he knows the difference.Sutter must watch BB and just consider himself an utter failure.
epic that you were watching a comicon panel discussion.Pretty sure it was a youtube clip that I stumb...hell...you're right. It's a rush to fast-forward through that one every time. You guys have written better lyrics in this thread. He doesn't seem to take any sort of criticism well. And he's pissed that he never gets nominated for Emmys.A couple of years ago I watched a video of a panel discussion with the cast and Sutter. It might have been at ComiCon or something. Why do we keep watching it?90 minutes I'll never get back.
I have absolutely no idea. I keep asking myself that. Why do we keep watching it?90 minutes I'll never get back.
I fell asleep. And usually if I fall asleep during a show I'll start it back up where I fell asleep before going to bed. Not last night. The 90 minute episodes are not good. For the second week in a row I looked up at five after ten and thought "it isn't done yet?"
I'd say it's a little bit of both. Probably a lot of both actually.Either BB has ruined me, this show was never as good as I thought, or it's gone way down hill.
Probably. A bit of the 1st, a bit more of the second, and even more of the last.I'd say it's a little bit of both. Probably a lot of both actually.Either BB has ruined me, this show was never as good as I thought, or it's gone way down hill.
Samaire ArmstrongI recognize her from The MentalistWho was the junkie that Juice killed?
Eta: I mean the name of the actress.

Jax's call. Thought she'd spill what she knew (where the gun came from). Why did Juice kill the broad?
Have you seen how pissy and defensive he gets regarding criticism of SOA?He cannot. seriously. think that.A couple of years ago I watched a video of a panel discussion with the cast and Sutter. It reminds me of that one guy we all had in class back in college/jr college. Stoner/neo-hippy/faux-philosopher dude that always had to debate with the professor no matter how wrong he was. Cross that dude with rookie-year Ryan Leaf in the locker room and you've got Sutter when sombody criticizes SOA.No, but I would very much like to.Have you seen how pissy and defensive he gets regarding criticism of SOA?He cannot. seriously. think that.A couple of years ago I watched a video of a panel discussion with the cast and Sutter. Well, I am more easily entertained than most. Last week's episode was satisfactory to me. But for all this pissing and moaning you're hearing over last night's episode... I have to agree... It was subpar. But where else can you go to see someone get shot up with heroin and then smothered with a pillow?does this show still suck or has it gotten better? Still a guilty pleasure of mine but only have time for Heisenberg and sport.
Give him a break. He wrote this episode after getting plowed in the ###. That has to screw up your thinking just a little. I am sure in a few more episodes it will be back to normal.I honestly believe Sutter is trying to make a trainwreck show. An 8th-grader could write a better script.
I teach 8th graders and you're dead wrong.Raider Nation said:I honestly believe Sutter is trying to make a trainwreck show. An 8th-grader could write a better script.
At Bobby riding into Las Vegas. Some crappy sign in the middle of nowhere that says "WELCOME TO LAS VEGAS/CLARK COUNTY". That would be like driving down a dirt road in the middle of the woods and seeing a sign that says "Welcome to New York City".DON'T YOU LEAVE ME OUT HERE ALONE!I leave the jingles to GPJ from here on out. I'm too indifferent on this show now.

My kid, who semi-sorta watches SoA, came in during that scene. He asked "what is he now? A map-maker?" Then he asked me why he was writing down names on the map. I explained it to him. A minute later he said "He's making a list for 3 f-ing names?"I'm hanging on until C. Thomas Howell gets in a knife fight with Anthony Kiedis over the affections of Lita Ford.I was struggling to pay attention on Tuesday, I just don't think I'm going to be able to make it through 24 more episodes.

"Sons of Anarchy" has never shied away from depicting grisly acts of violence, but critics who have already seen the scene -- which depicts a school shooting perpetrated by a young boy -- described it as particularly disturbing. The Daily Beast contributor Jason Lynch tweeted, "Even by 'Sons Of Anarchy' standards, [this] isn't going to sit well with a lot of people."
Sutter discussed and defended the likely-to-be-controversial scene, describing it as a "catalyst for the third act of this morality play we're doing," according to TV Guide.
