I had no rooting interest in this game. Was just hoping for a good, exciting game--and frankly--I feel like this was one of the dullest Superbowls that I can remember. The commercials were pretty weak with the exception of one or two. The game was a sleeper. The halftime show was meh at best. Honestly---I think the best part of this Super Bowl when Lady Gaga performed the national anthem.

I like defensive games--but I like seeing good defenses go up against energetic and inspired offenses. Carolina's offense--and Cam specifically looked disinterested and uninspired. Peyton looked like he was interested--but was limited by his physical capabilities. In my opinion---it really ended up being a dull Super bowl

Lol..I don't disagree--and I might be mis-remembering--but wasn't the game a one possession game at that moment? I think Carolina was down only six at the time--so for a guy to not even dive for the ball in a one possession game in the 4th quarter of the Super bowl doesn't just make him look disinterested--it makes him disinterested. I don't care if you were on your butt every play up to that point in time--your team still had a chance to march down the field to win--and he just stood there. Just seemed like the Carolina offense was not interested in fighting back versus the Denver D at all---even with Talib self destructing in the first half.

Looked to me like he was trying to get a better position and he was in the scrum for the ball as it went backwards. I think people are a little over the top on that play.

I like Cam.....a lot. I think the kid is as gifted a QB as anyone in the league. But that clearly looked to me like he wanted no part of the ball on that play. He just backed away.No matter. He was beaten up and defeated tonight. He is still a great player. But his rep took a big hit tonight with that play IMO. It will be perceived like he wanted no part of that.

I think its Cris Carter that talks about players making "business decisions" on the field. He measured cost of possible injury vs. benefit of jumping on the ball and chose poorly

I just went back and rewatched the play. Any of you notice the offensive lineman diving into the pile? That's what made Cam try to change position rather than getting taken out by his own guy.

What did people think of the way Carolina ended? The way they punted in 4th & long with more than 2 minutes left? And the dink and dunk passes at the end instead of trying something deep to at least try to get lucky? Just seemed like they fell on their sword rather than try at the end. Strange.

They won the division last year, not sure how you did the math on how their schedule next year will be any tougher. Still have to play the division winners from this past year, and they get designated cross divisional match-ups that are pre-determined. So...

What two games? They had to play the Seahawks, Packers, and WTF won the NFC last year. Next year they play the Skins, Vikings, and Cardinals and the NFC West and AFC West. Might be harder but they had to play the same 1st place schedule in 2015. So that argument makes no sense.

Oh I see. Yeah I don't get the "they played a soft schedule" shtick. Not their fault their division sucked, they won at Seattle, boat-raced the NFC east and AFC South who they had to play, and beat the Packers. Next year they'll have to play KC and Seattle on top of their 1st place schedule, but that's not in their control. They went 17-2 with the schedule they were given and won both their playoff games in impressive fashion. Panthers had a really good year.

 
hate to say I told you so, but...Denver won 'easily' like I said. Carolina's overrated,overhyped team.they beat no one.

Denver was battle tested.

all Denver defense.

I love Cam. People getting all over him for this game should go back and watch what this Defense did to Tom Brady in the AFC Championship game. Basically the Broncos had the best secondary in football and one of the best pass rushing front-sevens of all time, with two guys likely to end up in the Hall of Fame both playing at that level off the edge. Oh, and you can't really run on them either. It's almost not fair.

Cam did mention "errant passes" but Ignoramus didn't include that in his answer. The interview was bad, but Cam at least included his own poor play in his summary of the game.

Carolins wasn't overrated. Denver D was incredibly underrated and as slept on for 3 striaght weeks beginning with the week leading up to the ne game

Brady and the Pats fought to the end without giving up. Cam had a poor attitude/body language throughout the day and didn't even try to recover his own fumble when they were down by only 6 points. Big difference between how Brady reacted to the Denver D and how Cam reacted today.

manning did exactly that after the steelers loss, and also had the idiot liquored up kicker moment. Guys say things they shouldn't after big losses. Tip your cap to the league mvp. He had a great year and a tough loss to end it against a defense that played great.

examples? the non-overturn on the replay was a good call IMO.

could have/should have called PI on the Ginn play, but they didn't call PI all night.

I thought Cotchery's catch was good but maybe I missed something. Others saw it hit the turf; I did not.Non-PI on Ginn as mentioned. Plus a big non call on Talib offside on a Panthers FG. I don't recall if it would have given them a first down. Thought I saw a roughing the punter on Norwood's big return but they never showed a replay of the contact. Refs missed the obvious sack on Peyton in the 1st quarter, forcing Rivera to burn his last challenge. At least a couple more that I don't recall. Oh, I thought the defensive holding in the end zone looked ticky tack. Not a big deal.

The first quarter calls, the missed PI, the roughing the punter and the missed offsides all had a significant effect IMO.

You could tell from QTR 2 on Cam was lost, tired or confused.

Cam had a great season. No denying or taking that away. However his lack of grace in defeat is terrible. Don't give me the "he just lost the SB". Every other Panther player stayed at the podium and answered questions. As did the last 50 SB teams who lost. He's not special or different. Man up. He punked out on his team. If you are gregarious in victory, you have to be graceful in defeat. He killed his momentum.

His level of involvement 2 years ago wasn't as evolved as it was this year. He could be as strong as a Executive now as he was a player. He can talk to a FA and point to his record now - one that may be unequaled as a player/exec

Louis Wright - had only 26 career interceptions. in his prime it was like 2 a year. Bronco fans know why. Nobody threw his way because he was so good
