***OFFICIAL Survivor: Blood vs. Water*** (2 Viewers)

Yeah that kind of has me dreading the Reunion show, how awful for them, I think it's just those two kids. Katie is slammin' hot, Hayden should ditch Krazy Kat for her.

Just for fun, Survivor's been renewed for next season. Two more cycles (fall & spring), and Probst is signed to host both.
I love the show still after watching every one of them. I hope it keeps going as long as possible.
Next season looks to be all new players with 3 tribes of 6 to start. Brains vs Brawns vs Beauties.

Former NBA player Cliff Roberson is rumored to be part of the cast.

spoiled cast so far.

Based on the photos, other than the cop, i want to kick every single one of them in the knee. Like really hard.
I like to drop a ....on the McLOAD chick...

Good to hear. I think we need an infusion of new blood.

Tyson might be a smart ### at times, but he looks like a saint sitting next to Gervase and his big mouth. If the final 3 is Tyson, Gervase and Monica, I could see Monica maybe snagging a vote or two, and Tyson then getting the rest.
The smartest thing Tyson did was sitting quiet while Ciera slung the crap and Gervase ran his mouth.

Ummm, not really IMHO. First of all, it is edited, so maybe he said more, but he let Ciera talk to Monica way too much. Remember the beach scene and his "should we step in?" comments to Gervase? Monica was crying and hugging Ciera. Again, it is edited, but those guys were literally watching them. Then at the council he looked like he didn't know what to say. I really think people are giving Tyson way too much credit for being a good player. His actions this week tell me that he isn't really in control and honestly has been saved twice by Monica being loyal and hopefully (not sure I can give her credit for this yet) realizing that going to the end with Tyson and Gervase really does give her the best shot.

Tyson found the HII twice, mainly because people kept burning the clues and someone told him what it said and nobody looked at all. Ciera looked like a rocket scientist compared to him this week. He hasn't dominated in challenges or been that great a social player. I still see the guy that cost himself a chance by getting outsmarted instead of sticking with a guaranteed vote result. I just think this season has had a lot of really meh players that got smart enough to get some of the good guys out like Aras. Tina, Katie, Hayden, Caleb, Tyson, Gervase, Ciera and Monica are not exactly the people I think of when I think of someone really outsmarting the rest of the people. That's why, I think Monica has a good chance to win. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Laura, Ciera, Katie and Tina vote for her without even thinking about anyone else.

marathon on right now on TV Guide Network. its interesting watching these early episodes. i can definitely see how they are giving certain people better edits. Cant wait for Sunday.

Glad Tyson won, the editors did a good job of making me think it would be closer than it was.

Kat should look into brain transplants rather than new bewbs.

Really cool season. Glad Tyson won also. He pretty much dominated. A lot of really good / competitive players this year.

Do they no longer do the second place / fan favorite thing?

Pretty predictable.

Monica seems like a nice lady, but is fairly arrogant/conceited. Hell, even when Probst tried to segue way away from them at the reunion, her and Brad kept yapping. They strike me as one of those couple who think everything should revolve around them. It probably killed them to have to sit there for another 45 minutes with the focus no longer on them.

Thanks for not asking Jeff, but yes I got new boobs so Hayden would stay with me. Follow me on Twitter!!

How so? Obviously, edited to make it seem close, but I stand by what I said. I still think that Gervase and Tyson let Monica loose way more than they should have, based on what we saw.

Tyson could have been gone drawing rocks. He could have been gone if Ciera got to Monica, and based on her interviews, that wasn't as impossible as the results. Monica said one thing tonight that we never got to see, that she realized Tyson and Gervase gave her the only shot she had.

I think I overestimated the returning players (including Hayden from Big Brother) and their blood (Katie and Ciera) voting based on emotion, because they didn't do that. That said, I thought Monica answered the questions the way that gave her a shot.

I still thought Tyson would win, but I didn' think Tyson was as good as he was made out to be when I posted above. He closed well with the two immunity wins and that helped him close the door, but that hadn't happened yet. When I wrote the above, it was after it appeared that Ciera had almost swayed Monica and Tyson and Gervase stood watching and asked each other if they should step into the conversation, but didn't

Those were clutch immunity wins by Tyson. This was a well deserved win and would have obviously been unanimous if not for Vytas' last ditch ploy. I was also glad to see Tyson give Gervase the immunity idol. The souvenir thing is just plain dumb. I don't care how small the risk is, its still an unnecessary risk.

This was one of the most interesting seasons at the beginning, and one of the most boring and predictable at the end. I just fast forwarded through tonight, if was just so obvious.

I'm a bit intrigued by the 3-tribe gimmick next year, but, if history is a guide, they'll abandon the premise and merge or switch up the tribes way too early.

Probably as one tribe will get wiped out. I would like to see them all in one big tribe. One person wins immunity, the rest are subject to be voted out.

Vytas Baskauskas@vytasyoga2h
@DaltonRoss Tyson played the best game. I'd have voted for him had it been in question. Luckily , I had room to vote for 2nd place.

Vytas Baskauskas@vytasyoga58m
... instead it was about second place. I knew the votes were going to Tyson. I wanted to honor @monicaculpepper for her strength with 2nd!

Gervase should have said, "Tyson and stuck and made all these decisions together. My own plan was to ride my alliance until the end, while letting Tyson take the heat, until the right moment to take Tyson out. Unfortunately, Tyson won two crucial challenges right at the end. I was strategizing. Tyson, in a way, is the lucky one between us to be here."

The only time Tyson was lucky was during the rock draw. He found both idols and he won the final 2 immunity challenges fairly convincingly.

Tyson was the best player. No doubt. Just think Gervase deserves a bit more credit. He was in on the decision-making with Tyson. Just the two of them pretty much. He didn't have to find the idols or win any challenges. Tyson would have been the one to have been voted out before him if any chance arose late in the game. Gervase positioned himself well and was very close to winning.

Anticlimactic ending to a season that was really strong 3/4 of the way through. Worthy winner. Gervase didn't ride coattails and was only a touch more arrogant, but he simply didn't do as much to win as Tyson did. The jury didn't even bother to destroy any of them at final.. they would have just sounded bitter anyway.. but if Tina or Laura or anybody else had made it, they would have rolled.

I agree. Tyson deserved the win, especially after dominating the last two challenges. I previously thought Monica would win against Tyson, but he owned the game at the end. I thought Monica's response to Laura's question was very good, but then she blew it all up when she got defensive during Haydon's question. Any votes she may have had besides Vytas, she may have lost during that segment.

Good win by Tyson and well deserved.

Just read that Cochrane's run as a tv writer has been so successful that cbs has decided to put Katie in the booth next week with Nantz and Simms.

I thought it was a good finale. I wasn't interested in seeing drama and crazy votes. I wanted Tyson to win it. I would have been pretty upset if the tears had somehow given Monica the victory. Glad to see a dominant player win.

I liked Vytas up until he did the whole 'I'm not voting for you because you took me out' bit. Cry baby.

Before he was voted out his last angle was to promise Tyson he wouldn't vote for him at final tribal. That's not a bitter vote, just following through with his threat.

Loved Tyson calling him out..

V - Do you remember my comment to you that if you voted me out I won't vote for you?

Tyson - Yes, I remember your threat and yet I still booted your A## out.

:lmao:

Ciera got robbed. She was the only one that deserved it.
Ciera flipped a week too late. If she had flipped the week before with Caleb and Hayden and kept Tyson in the dark, Tyson wouldn't have played his idol and would have gone to redemption island.

She doesn't deserve it because she made her move when she had to rely on luck. The luck was not with her. Her bad.

Move he's gotta do. If I'm ever on the jury, my vote would be based solely on one criteria: what game-theory says is the best vote to make to send a message to future contestants. Can't reward someone for doing something that I don't want to see repeated.

I buy Vytas' tweets that he opted to gift second place to Monica. I'm sure they all knew at Ponderosa that they were all voting Tyson.

Tyson absolutely deserved to win and I don't think Monica was as close to flipping as they tried to make the edit look. I also don't think most of the people on the jury had enough respect for Monica for the vote to really be close. I think they mostly actually liked Tyson, other than being a little butt sore over him outsmarting them.

BTW, I got a little tired of all the questions to Monica about who she really is and asking her about being vulnerable in front of them. Enough with the group therapy session. Either vote for her on her merits or don't.

Tyson with a super deserving win. Probably a top 5 Season he played, dude was money all year. Love that no one remembers how awful Cierra was when it was final 7 and Hayden and Caleb giftwrapped for a her an easy final 4 and she went to Tyson because "she didnt want to play with new players" or something along those lines. As brazen as her move was by drawing rocks it was a week too late.

Never ever grovel to the Jury. They are trying to make you pay, Monica vulnerable, Dawn taking her teeth out saying sorry and such.

I don't remember anyone self deprecating winning. If the Jury is going to make you jump though hoops they don't like you and you have already lost don't embarrass yourself.

Ciera was a awful, she played a bad game and people were all over her like she was good or something. She votes her mom out, misses her opportunity to flip, only to give the clue to the idol to Tyson and then flips on him? Then that nasty attack on Monica was pretty bad, shows just that she is scummy. Tyson and Ger were smart asses and said crap but I don't believe for a second that they were viscous little school girls like CIerra would say. Oh and the whole character assault wasn't even her idea. Hayden played her for a fool made her attack Monica so she would look bad.

Oh and Cierra was brazen to draw rocks? Nonsense Hayden manipulated that little idiot into drawing rocks so he could stay in the game. Sooooo not Cierra play. She had done nothing but paint herself into a corner just like Gervase. Even if the rock hit Tyson it didn't matter, there is no difference if she loses to Hayden to Tyson. Actually the best play at that point was to continue as Gervase was looking for a opportunity to get rid of Tyson, but felt he couldn't trust Cierra after her flip.

It is one thing to have no game like Katie but Cierra made nothing but moves that HURT her chances, terrible.

I thought this season was pretty boring overall. I'd like to do away with bringing past members back, and also get rid of Redemption Island. Redemption Island brings nothing to the game. If they do keep it, they need to bring the player back when there are 8-9 people remaining, not so close to the end. I'm pretty sure every time someone has come back from Redemption Island they pretty much proceed to get voted out immediately (barring winning immunity).
