Also, I've seen Taishan fight. He is a mess. He's a freaking giant, but moves like he has 300 pounds of weights strapped to his arms and legs.

 
Just got back from work, ####, looks like Figueroa-Burns already fought. Was hoping to catch that one.

Oh well, the HBO card should be fun

 
Are they actually airing an undercard fight or are they showing a replay of PBF-Pac? Wondering since the Canelo fight is scheduled to start at 10PM EST

I dont think the odds are too far off with Canelo -800 and Kirkland +550 but I actually thought it would be leaning even more towards Canelo. Kirkland's power and ability to make some noise tonight make that feel reasonable though. Its just ever since his shocking 1st loss by KO, he's fought 5 times in 4 years and no fights in the last 2 years. I dont recall him ever getting suspended, but maybe Im wrong. Either way, his competition in those fights wasnt all that impressive. I think he may be a mandatory though, pretty sure he's the #1 contender for one of the belts.

I dont think there is an undercard fight being aired. Just the replay.

 
GGG said that he let Monroe back in to give the fans their money's worth.

Respect to Monroe for hanging in there. Can't fault him for conceding after that third knockdown, it was only a matter of time.

 
First time I have heard GGG speak was yesterday after the fight. Have heard people call him Borat, that is pretty spot on. Love this guy.

Sounds like his next fight will be with a big name, maybe?

If they can get someone willing to take him on. The best was when he was first coming up and his English was real weak. He (trying to be genuinely nice) would refer to his defeated opponents as "good boy". "Listen Max, I respect him. He was a good boy." But it obviously came off as really condescending. It was great.

I miss him calling people good boy. I love this guy. he speaks a little spanish i guess to win over the cali crowd and its great. He even let the guy back into the fight to give us a "present".

Im not sure who he will fight next. I think he will have to wait for the winner of canello cotto and even then its not guaranteed the winner will fight him..... Who else is out there in the mean time? Could ward happen?

In the interview Canello and Cotto were the names thrown out. Also talked bout Ward. I don't know enough about the fight game to know if any of those are realistic.

He did get hit a bit last night but looked like the shots barely even registered. Think I saw one body shot that got him a bit otherwise he just looked like a machine.
