## OFFICIAL ## Taylor Swift thread (1 Viewer)

It is odd how some men still don't get this.

Today I was at a comic con.  Every aisle there was an enormous sign telling the Cosplay is not Consent and to keep your hands to yourself.  It makes you wonder just how many guys are groping.
I was at Wizard World in Cleveland last year and saw those signs. I saw some hot cosplayers and I always asked permission before taking their pictures.

Some dudes are clueless.

hover hands?

So this guy owes Swift a dollar for grabbing her booty.  Can anybody get in on that deal?  (Asking for a friend)
No, for grabbing her booty he's lost any chance of working a DJ again, plus he gets nothing from her or her team in regards to money, and he still has to pay his lawyers for two years of litigation. The dollar was a symbolic middle finger to him trying to get money from her because of what he did.

Or did he.  As they say even negative publicity is publicity.  Sometimes infamy sells.  I'm thinking somewhere the fact that he grabbed her and was involved in a case is actually viewed as a positive.  The danger will be if he gets a DJ job, talks about the incident, and changes his story to claim yeah he did it and it was nice.  Courts understand perjury is a daily occurrence, but woe be un to any who flaunt it in the Court's face.

Well, the basis of his lawsuit was that she'd made it so he'd never work as a DJ again. But you're probably right.

That's certainly my interpretation. If I ever get the chance I'll try this out. In fact, my other hand will already have the dollar out.

Also I'm fine with never working as a DJ again.

Whatever happened to the DJs that got fired after they broadcasted a couple making whoopie in a church? They still around?

Well, this also happened back in 2013, before she released 1989 and became a full pop star rather than a country cross-over star. My guess is that if someone were to try that with her now, the outcome would be much worse.

In all fairness, I'm driving it on a pretty good pair of cans*, and it's still a mess even with the great bass production.

Yeah, I'll fully admit that some of her songs are decent or even good...but this is pretty bad. She's better than this.

She needs to get out of the petty revenge/catfight business. It makes her look terrible, is going to alienate her fan base eventually, and is leading her to make crappy music and make her pretty unlikable.

"Shake It Off" made her look like a decent person who was down to earth, above the fray of petty squabbles and the celebrity machine, and someone who could have fun and laugh at herself.

This is the antithesis of that. She lowers herself to tell muck, looks petty and mean-spirited, appears consumed by the celebrity media machine, takes herself way too seriously, and seems totally unlikable. "Nobody trusts me and I don't trust anybody" is an extremely sad and pathetic line.

My two twenty-something daughters, who used to love her, despise her now.

The song is terrible, but she not only credited them after getting their permission to use it, she worked with their producer on the song. They even replied right in that Twitter thread saying that they were honoured and that it was hard to keep the secret.
I saw that, but I still think it's :lmao:

I got hints of Meghan Trainor's "Me Too" in the chorus

Sshhhhhh

This is the best rreasonable path to a "leaked" sex tape

A true masterpiece of cinematic proportions. She is well aware of her image and how she is portrayed. She also knows how to get people talking without spending money so this is free advertising to the fullest. She's either really smart or has really smart people around her. Swift 2020... damnit... Swift 2024!!!!!
:lmao:

I think I made a mistake. Taylor Swift is a loser of the highest order, and that video and video pictorial prove it.
