***OFFICIAL 'The Walking Dead' TV Series Thread***

Noah's death was totally awesome. The gruesomeness needle went way up when they showed his face being torn apart. The only thing I thought about his death was the blood. For the live of me it looked like it first bled red but then they took another bite out of him and it came out looking like 40,000 mile used motor oil.

I thought it was good writing how they had Carol notice Pete's wife/son abuse since she had a history of being abused herself.
I wonder if Carol's manipulating Rick for her own gain for reasons currently unknown. Her deciding the only way to resolve the issue with Porch D**k was by killing him seemed a bit ... extreme.

Was Noah's death the first time a main character has died while another main character was forced to watch it all? Carol saw what was happening to T-Dog but not all of it. I can't remember if we've had a death like that before. Great point by Steven Yeun on Talking Dead about how nobody had ever died on Glen's watch before.

Gabriel has never gotten over Rick hacking up the Termites in his church. He had no context because all he'd done to that point was hide. Regardless of his excuses, he is a dead man walking.

Pretty much everyone saw Herschel get cut down to size. Not sure about seeing a walker chow down though.

I took Carol's reaction as "hey, I've been there. It's the only way to handle an abuser at this point" (no therapy available in this new world). If she can see it has gone far enough for the son to inquire about a gun for his mom, it must be pretty bad. Although we have not seen Jessie with a black eye or anything like that.

I was expecting Carol to lift Sam's shirt and expose a bunch of ADP marks on his back or something.

Yeah that was gruesome but I was thinking about a zombie kill specifically. Even when Shane capped Otis he was limping away so he didn't see all of what went down. Closest I can think of is Carol/T-Dog but she got away as he was being torn apart. She didn't see all of it like Glen did.

Oh yeah Carol saw the signs because she'd been through it herself. But I still thought her end game resolution here was a bit shocking. But there's not a lot of gray area in Carol's world view at the moment.

Gabriel may think the group will out him for what he did to his congregation, so he wants to get a jump on them and tell Deanna that they are really bad people. So if they turn on him he can get her aside and say "see, I told you they were evil and are liars."

He will fit right in that community since he has always been about self preservation.
well- that, and they ARE really people who have done really bad things.
What has he seen them do that's so terrible? They saved his worthless ### even after they found out he let his entire congregation die.

As someone posted earlier, he likely hasn't gotten over the Termites being hacked apart in his church. But yeah, he's definitely omitting his own sins. Maybe he's the true devil and the true snake in the grass? That'd be a nice twist.

Really no way else to handle it - can't exile him with it being so easy to scale the walls.

Deanna's last thoughts might be, "Oops, misjudged Carol."
How will Deanna react when she finds out her son is dead and Nicholas tells her it is Glenn's and Eugene's fault? Especially given what she heard from the preacher.
Considering that Rick's crew lost Noah and they are bringing Tara back unconscious with a severe head wound, his story won't add up. Then again, it's a woman so I don't expect her to be rational.

I think he is. He ripped the bible up. I think he's wrestling with his own insecurities and inability to square his former life and beliefs with what is happening now. This is classic projection.

With possibilities of staking out kids and clergymen, this show has really taken things to a nifty new level of darkness. Oh, and I almost forgot about murdering physicians in their sleep.

Awesome episode last night. Can't wait for the last 2....the season has really kicked in here the last 2 weeks...big time.

I've said it before and I think last night proved it again - The Talking Dead is so much better when the guests are just those on the show or who work on the show. The "celebrity" guests are almost always awful. Last night's was really good.

But for the right reasons.. I don't recall them doing something "Bad" that wasn't done because others were attacking/doing things to them..
I agree with you- but seems like what's "right" became more slippery and "wrongish" over the last couple seasons.

I don't think Rick's group has done anything despicable that wasn't in self-defense. If people left them alone, they wouldn't have killed anyone. They aren't going around looting and raping. Probably the worst thing they've done is leave that hitchhiker on the side of the road to his fate. Also that guy they saw on the way to Sanctuary.
Rick took out Officer Joe out of convenience... not really a "good" thing.

He didn't say Mom. We assumed mom. 95% likely that's a correct assumption, but you never know.
This is correct. There is some shocking twist room left in the ambiguity. Personally I am hoping that Carol kills the only doctor only to find out that Sam wanted the gun because he is being molested by the guy with the bike shop just like Dudley.

So of course the revolving door guy is going to blame Glenn for the son's death, and deanna will believe him setting up... drama.

My almost assuredly correct predictions.

1. Francine and Rosita cat fight for Abrahams affections.

2. Tara wil die due the doctor screwing something up and force the killing of his ###.

3. Since we did not see that girl who climbed the wall it is safe to assume she was killed in the woods by walkers.

4. The guy will admit to getting the congresswoman's son and Noah killed and be exiled from the community.

5. Everything will settle down, and now that they have the micro inverters they will be able to live peaceably for years to come as the zombies slowly die off outside the walls and they show will become a serious drama.

6. Alexandria will never run out of chocolate in the freezer.

7. The owl sculpture will be replaced and everyone will rejoice.

Preacher gonna die
There was yelling outside after he left Deanna's. Maybe Maggie is kicking his ###.
Anyone have any idea what this was? I heard it right after she closed the door, sounded like a 'walker eating me' scream for help? But Deanna didnt even seam to react.

I was working while I watched and sequed into Talking Dead, which I usually don't. They had some kind of twitter comment section, and somebody used that. the cast members and host all loled- Noah saying  why didn't I think of that already?
Obviously someone here stole my joke and took credit for it on Twitter.

Noah's death was really ####### brutal.
Overly brutal to compensate for weak storylines.
Apparently this virus gives you super strength.

I was fish hooked once by a guy and he tried with all his might to rip my face open with his bare hands...thankfully he wasn't a zombie...er, walker, roamer, shuffler, rambler, etc.
Did you bite his finger off or #### in his mouth?

Moral rules for self defense and capital punishment change dramatically in this scenario. Raises interesting questions.

Hip tossed him with his arm hooked...tore his shoulder. Tried to bring me to court but was dismissed.

So...when LL Bean told Noah that they had a great surgeon...was he lying? Was he talking about Rick's new drinking buddy (who seems more like a general practitioner) or is it yet another writing flub?
