I am speechless. Martz is the biggest idiot I have evr seen running a team. Every single time I see them play - and it has been 15 or more times since he took over - he does something that risks the game.Unbelievable. At least Wilkins made the field goal.

 
Martz obviously didn't want Bulger making a stupid mistake and screwing it up, so he played for OT. I cannot fault him for that.

 
I was rooting for the Rams, but now i hope they lose in OT

Don't take it out on the Rams, we all hate Martz. It's not their fault they have a stupid coach.But they don't DESERVE to win this game.
 
That there folks is the worst example of coaching I have ever seen in my 27 years of watching professional football. Pathetic.

No confidence in your QB? That's pathetic. Play to win.Throw dump passes, let Marshall run, don't just sit on it.You can be conservative and still play to win. No excuse for Martz's piss poor playcalling.
 
Oh - and the over bet is SAFE!Wilkins FG in OT and all my bets are safe. Kasay FG in OT and I lose two Rams -1 teasers, but my parlays are safe.God, I am SO g;lad the movement to 7.5 scared me off the game. Great game though - despite Martz' idiocy and despite St Lou squandering three TDs in the first half, and despite the Panthers sloppy penalty filledm, yet still dominating play.I have never been more convinced that the NFC is in decline than the play I've seen in this game.

Amen to that. Welcome to the horrible world of us Ram fans.Now they lost the toss. They may not get the ball back. I hope Martz is fired.
 
If they get a TD, they will be back in the game.Why do so many posters assume games are over long before they actually are? It's as if they've forgotten every come from behind game they've ever seen.

I apologize for this. But, I believe the board's code of conduct requires me to dig up this quote of yours and make you look slightly foolish for believing the game was over. :P Regardless of who actually wins, it was still a game when the Panthers were up 23-12.

Totally agree. I couldn't believe that. Why not take a chance at the win. Why risk leaving it up to your defense after Carolina spent the whole game running up and down the field on them.Pathetic. Not only that...at LEAST save enough time in case of the rare event in which the FG gets blocked and you recover...so you can kick it again.

I voted stupid after the 2001 Super Bowl. He's a full on idiot.If the St Louis fans cared much about their team, he'd have been gone already - and people wouldn;t have been leaving the stadium with over 5 minutes to play (as they showed after the last Bulger INT).

Too inconsistent, too many picks. I hope all the Warner haters are happy. The Rams are winning in spite of Bulger, not because of him.
 
Oh, and things have been going well for St Lou each time I post in this thread, and then sign offlline, so I'm, outta here till after the game.Keeping the mojo flowin'.
