***Official Thread for Evaluating MC Gas Money's IQ*** (1 Viewer)

So the 176 in question was when you were 8-10?
Yes
Was it in-person? Have you taken any in-person since? Have you tried the online ones at all? How did you do at standardized testing (i.e. State tests in various grade levels, ASVAB, etc.)?
Full 1 on 1 battery of tests ordered by the BOE because I was a "bad" kid

99% percentile in everything my entire life.

I was put in gifted classes but gotbthrown out in like 2 years because it as boribg too

Then I was put in special ed with the dumskis til I dropped out in the tenth

The very definition of a psychopath - especially the part where most all of it is a lie.

Predicted outcome(s):

1) Test doesn't happen

2) Dip#### takes the test and fails miserably. He then claims some kind of failure of the testing process/grading/conditions/etc. and doesn't pay.

There are no other outcomes.

I asked because I did some research in grad school on standardized testing (in fact the research is still open but I am told the study will conclude around 2020).

IQ test was included to the degree that the research looked at fluid versus crystallized intelligence and the measurements of each. Kids were tested at the age of six or seven, then again at age 17 or 18 and then again at age 30 (we were measuring the teenagers at the time). In most cases the individuals scores correlated with most ending up within four or so points, 10 to 12 years apart. There were outliers and that's where the study got interesting (e.t environmental, social, and financial factors), but I think about 70% of the individuals were positively correlated.

I had IQ tests at 6, 19, and 30. The median score was +/- 3.

FWIW the smartest person I have ever known probably had an IQ above 160, he was the Secretary of the Air Force. My uncle who has a photographic memory is low 150s, he was a fighter pilot, finance guru, and now manages his real estate all over the place.

I don't think any single intelligence quotient can properly assess true intuitive or analytical ability, but for now we can use IQ as a measurement of at least fluid intelligence IMO.

So well done sir, I look forward to working for you someday.

176 confirmed!

Haha, I was kicked out after one semester for not doing the work!

:owned:

200 IQ

why have so many of you taken IQ tests?
I took mine when I was young. I retook it again about 10 years ago to see how much it had changed. Pretty much stayed the same.
Why did you take one when you were young?
For placement into the special classes for smarter kids. Not sure what they call them now. We called them Enrichment Classes. Probably the only classes I ever really enjoyed or learned anything in.
Well, look at the brain on you. I guess we should call you MC Iron Sheik.

I wanted to be a scientest my entire childhood. Marine biology.

In HS I learned I liked having sex more.
If you really have the IQ you claim and dropped out of HS in 10th grade... why not take the GED and SAT and go to college. You'll never reach your potential without education. You may not need all of college, but you'll need some. Intelligence doesn't equal knowledge... and you need both to be effective.

Just so its clear, SB will return scores above 160, but any score above 160 loses statistical significance. We'd know he's 160+, but beyond that its unknown. If you're trying to measure to 176, you need a different test.

Have any of you considered that the reason he has difficulty communicating his thoughts with us is because we're not on his level? Its a studied phenomena that an IQ gap of 30ish or more creates communication issues between parties. It is why it is tough for someone with a 160+ IQ to be an effective leader. Said person could lead a team of 130 IQ and up people effectively, but if you start getting people closer to the mean intelligence in the group he's supposed to lead, he stops being effective. Food for thought.
That's obviously my problem. :-)

I have a GED and I have 12 college credits

To be honest I would rather be successful without schooling because I despise it and cant think of anything I want to study.

If I take the SAT it would be for fun

I dont know you, but from what Ive read, that isnt working out very well. Sometimes the best knowledge is learning your way was not right.

I aint dead yet

Cant believe all you big talkin money making big swingin ##### are backing down from the bet lol
In the sequence, 55 – 288 – 539 – 1628, each term after the first is determined by multiplying by X and then adding Y. If X and Y are each greater than zero, and if they are integers, then what does the term X + Y equal?

I would have to study the formulas first before I could do any advanced algebra. I dropped out in the tenth.

can you give me an explanatory sentence for how you would solve that?

Idk but I dont even remember what an integer is. Advanced Math is the only subject I have never used since leaving school so I would first need a refresher

Jim and Jeff Dumski. Brothers. We were neighbors

IDK why, but this thread reminds of the scene from Forrest Gump when the principal is showing his mom the chart for intelligence...

Code:
INT. ELEMENTARY SCHOOL / PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE - DAY PRINCIPAL Your boy's... different, Mrs. Gump. Now, his I.Q. is seventy-five. MRS. GUMP Well, we're all different, Mr. Hancock. The principal sighs, then stands up. INT. HALLWAY Forrest sits outside the principal's office and waits. FORREST (V.O.) She wanted me to have the finest education, so she took me to the Greenbow County Central School. I met the principal and all. The principal stands in front of Mrs. Gump. Forrest, sitting left, listens. PRINCIPAL I want to show you something, Mrs. Gump. Now, this is normal. The principal holds up a chart with a designations according to I.Q. and points to the center of the graph, labeled "Normal." A red line below the normal area is labeled "State Acceptance." The principal points to the section below the acceptance line labeled "Below." PRINCIPAL Forrest is right here. The state requires a minimum I.Q. of eighty to attend public school, Mrs. Gump. He's gonna have to go to a special school. Now, he'll be just fine.

The 288, is almost certainly supposed to be 176. I think Tony made an error.

Only way it works using integers

in which case x = 14 (3+11)

Oooops, you're right there GB. But I think I proved my point anyway:

:lmao: Integers are introduced in elementary school, there is nothing advanced about them.

You have a rectangular shaped cake. One rectangular shaped piece is already taken from the cake. You can only make one cut with a knife and have to ensure the cake is cut into equal pieces. Where do you make the cut and how do you ensure the pieces are equal?

I didn't take advanced home economics, I would have to do a little culinary studying to figure this one out.

Who's backing away?

I am in but heading to South America tomorrow for 10 days. If someone wants to run with this while I am gone, feel free otherwise I will revisit when I get back.

Jack and Jill are old friends. Jack sees Jill for the first time in 12 years. Jill now has three kids and Jack asks how old they are. Jill tells Jack that the product of their ages is 72 and the sum of their ages is the same as Jack's birth date. Jill also tells Jack that her eldest just started piano lessons. How old are Jill's three kids?
