Welcome GBThis never occurred to me either. txWow I just realized if the Vikings just kicked the XP earlier they could have tied the game

Jets are out Childressing Childress.Saved by the Jets. You have to run a sweep there to take off time.Idiotic timeout by Childress. The next play will take 7 seconds to run and the two minute warning will occur.
If it is a 2 possession game, which is caused by missing a 2, it is better to know early than late. The chances of making the 2 are the same on the first or second TD. You are just wrong. They fail to get the two, which they did, it creates the opportunity to have what happened happen. You create the opportunity for a 2 possession game. I see no logic in putting my team in a position to be down 2 possessions in the 4th quarter.Dude, use your brain. If you assume the two point conversion has the same end result either way (no reason it wouldn't), then they need the two either way. When they miss it doesn't matter, and in fact is better to miss it early because now they can play knowing they need to score twice rather than just once.Because now it's a 2 possession game. Would it have been with the 1?Don't think so.Why exactly? You still have to go for 2 on one or the other.Invalid point is invalid. And that's why you go for one on the previous TD
USC??What the hell was the play call??? THROWING there!?Just terrible series there. Not sure what was going on. There should be under 1 minute left.I thought USC boys were supposed to be smarter than that.
You're not getting it. If you're assuming they miss the first one then you have to assume they miss the second. What you're doing is assuming that the first one is a 100% miss while the second one is 50/50. At the time the decision was made, that was not the case. Both were 50/50. In this case we're assuming they miss either way so either you KNOW you need two scores ahead of time or you don't know you need two scores ahead of time and run the clock out against yourself. They fail to get the two, which they did, it creates the opportunity to have what happened happen. You create the opportunity for a 2 possession game. I see no logic in putting my team in a position to be down 2 possessions in the 4th quarter.Dude, use your brain. Sanchez's limp wristed throwing styleWhy'd they throw a pink flag?
No.What's the "defenseless receiver" rule? Do you have to make the catch first?
They need to play more Madden.awful clock management, unreal
If so then I expect Favre to have Moss wide open in the endzone...to unload a perfect pass...and a lightning bolt to strike the ball 10ft off the ground vaporizing it as the clock strikes :00Is Les Miles coaching the Jets?
23 incomplete passes, mostly high, rest out of boundsSanchez = junk
No. If it was Les Miles that last play would have hit off 2 Jets players, bounced off a Vikings helmet and back into Braylon's hands for the TD.Is Les Miles coaching the Jets?
They had 3 timeouts to burn, they really should have let it run all the way down to 2:03 and called the timeout to make sure they were snapping the ball at 2:03 rather than letting Sanchez try and figure it out himself.Nothing wrong with calling a pass...if Sanchez takes the clock down to 2:03 or something. The clock will stop after the play anyway.
Favre INT to lose the game. MARK IT DOWN!
way to go out on a limb here guys.Game ends on a Favre INT?
Many have tried but he always goes the distance.Jets play calling, equally bad as Viks all night, now the Jest might lose. This pleases me.
