Kevin Kolb- looked like a deer in the head lights. Philly will miss McNabb

Calvin Johnson - Stafford goes down in the first half and once again the most talented WR in the NFL could be a wasted high pick.

Finley..

I totally expected 150 yards and 3 td's after all the hype.

Heck, he didn't spike a ball that measured 7 on the richter scale. He didn't deliver a ladies baby. He didn't leap out of the stadium during a lambeau leap, and he clearly didn't catch 2 balls for 26 yards and 7 touchdowns like some people said he would. I bought into it all!

I knew after Foster blew up Finley was too good to be true.

I will throw D-Jax into the mix. Will have a very tough time coming close to last years stats with Vick and Kolb..

Fitz is gonna have a rough year for as high as he was picked
So far Fitz is one of only a few top 12 projected WRs who caught a TD. 16 tds for the year would look pretty good wouldn't it? those that didn't to name a few-MossA JohnsonCa JohnsonWhiteMarshallD Jackson

I'm glad you added the sarcasm tag, because I was totally going to respond to this on the assumption that you were being serious otherwise.

Vernon Davis - Smith sucks and Singletary did a horrible job coaching today.
Huh? He did well in PPR
Not all leagues are PPR and unless he grows 3 feet taller, Smith isn't going to get it to him much more than he did today.
8 rec for 73 yards in a game were they were held to 6 points doesn't look like bust #'s to me. I think I'd be pretty happy with that. When they're scoring, he'll be getting alot of looksLook like top 10 #'s to me.. :lmao:

Mike Crabtree ... bleh ... hopefully mike singletary yells and intimidates like he has done in years past

8-73 is a good TE day in my book. 7 points.

He played (and his team held TD-less) against a team that won 9 games the last 2 years and his QB looked absolutely atrocious. I'd be very worried about him being a bust if I owned him. The thread isn't "whose numbers today average out over a season to be top 10". The offense looked awful and couldn't put up a TD despite having the Seattle team on it's heels and all the momentum on their side. Bad QB play and bad coaching equals bad news for owners.

Crabtree crapped the bed for me in a couple leagues.

I'm benching him until he shows me something because today was a lackluster effort.

Michael Crabtree. I just hope that his "lazy routes and poor effort" this week was merely an aberration and that he starts playing like the game matters to him.

Seemed like we were talking based on week #1 production, who looked like a bust... Based on week 1 production, he does not look like a bust.. He produced...And if you're projecting no TD's for the rest of the year I'm not buying that one either.

I don't think Calvin had even one catch while Staffordshire Crystal was in the game. I'm thinking Hill or any other dreck QBs DET rolls out will be an upgrade for Calvin's numbers. His rookie year was his best year and that was with a bunch of drecky QBs throwing to him.

I think Megatron and Gore will get theirs barring injury.

Fortunately I didn't project no TDs for him. Quite frankly I'm not sure how you could even get that from my statement. I stand by my prediction, his situation looks to have bust potential written all over it. We're talking about week one play, and that includes the team, not just the player's stats. Otherwise we could just put up the weekly stats to fill the list instead of thinking about it.

Based on what I saw from him and the niners today, I expect top 10 #'s from Davis. He'll get his looks, and that's what it takes. Wouldn't be hard to imagine 80+ rec 1000+ yards 7+ TD's based on today production.. He's the only definite/reliable option, there will be some offensive plays..

What about Stewarts 12 yards rushing today?
Don't remind me... :sigh: D-will wasn't much better
Speaking of RB's, Michael Turner had a down game today.
With Smith and Troy healthy, don't expect too many big rushing numbers against Pittsburgh.
+1. Unless you're Ced Benson, no RB ever does well against the Curtain.EDIT:...whoops, got Pitt and Balt mixed up, but you get the point.

With Smith under center, many, many plays will be offensive.
