Yeah, seems like almost all of the old timeline stuff is Delores related. Which makes the Maeve dominance of the present kind of a square peg. It's the one thing I don't like much about the show.

Thandie Newton looks great naked so I'm willing to look past it.
Agree. I hate that storyline completely.

She is going to use the livestock which is also just dumb. Why not incinerate them?

What is the reddit thought process on the time Delores made it to the center of the maze to find a church full of washed up whores and semi-hot 7s and 8s all trembling and babbling?
They were hearing voices and having headaches it seemed. Like going mad and the voice brought them to the church.

I can't imagine a scenario where the bro-in-law becomes MiB. You would have to spend an entire season turning a vapid, superficial, "what you see is what you get" character into someone far more complex.
The MiB was nothing more than a guy who went there to kill until he found the "maze."

Doesn't seem that complex to me

I think this is a scene after Arnold was killed but before William timeline.

So do they give Delores a red pill blue pill option each time she hits the center of the maze?  Seems to be part of the Bernard world.

I mean I was sober for once watching this and I dont recall her saying anything about why being burnt was a good idea.  Wouldnt they melt or something?  Seems like an odd way to go out
What jtg said...for effect, but silly

Gotta figure they make those things fireproof in case one of the guests has an arson fetish.

"Inflammable means flammable?!? What a country!"

I thought maybe there's a reason she wants to do it that way, maybe to get down to a certain level?  Otherwise it's slop level silly

Red Ross Lon is an anagram for loser nerds. He's the leader of that Indian tribe that keeps coming out and attacking people. It was on the nameplate of his office.

The only character with any degree of comic relief was apparently unceremoniously killed off in the middle of the season. :kicksrock:
It wouldn't surprise me if she's not dead.  I could actually foresee a scenario where her and Stubbs meet up and are catalysts for whatever season 2 may hold.

so all those scenes of Bernard talking to delores in the first few episodes he was actually Arnold?

And only over mention of the picture being Williams future wife?

I believe when Dolores is newd she's talking to Bernard and when she's clothed she's talking to Arnold.

Not gonna have time but would love to do a 9-hour marathon leading up to the finale.

Who's this again?  For some reason the names just aren't sticking with me on this show.  I know Bernard, Teddy, the madam who's always naked, MIB, and the blonde hottie.  But who's Elsie?
The woman that worked with Bernard. She was with the security guy when the stray went on the fritz and bashed its own skull in

How'd she get killed?
Bernard was having flashbacks to having choked her when she found the site where data was being streamed from the park. You don't actually see her die, which is why it's a question.
the last we see her in "real" time, she's getting choke-hold lifted in the scooby doo set by a old-man smithers mystery man, and then cut to black.

but it was edited together so that we see her calling bernard just as it happens- but bernard is talking to theresa(?) in the edit and doesn't pick up... implying he's elsewhere and couldn't be the one choking her. but it seems like the edits don't necessarily mean any continuity in timeline... so it could be that the call happens at another time and it could be him in the scooby doo set, choking her. :loco:

Didn't Bernard have a flashback during one of his conversations with Ford to him choking her out?

You guys ruin everything. All the surprises spoiled by you geniuses lol
The Reddit nerds have been scary accurate with their theories so far. And to be honest, I think you gotta credit the story writers here. This show is really well written. There are no throw away lines, props or scenes. All of the clues that the show writers have been dropping made it easy not to doubt that certain theories were true. Once this season is over, knowing what we know, I expect the second viewing to be more enjoyable than the first.

It's really obvious that the show writers leak this stuff or take on reddit alias to hype the show, or otherwise do it thru proxy.  It's almost asking for a spoiler going into some of those threads, they just know a little bit too much.  I think HBO shows are the worst in this way.

I'm really curious where a second season of this will go.

I'm not anticipating any cliff hangers thankfully.

Someone linked an article about the 2nd season, tldr will be a completely different storyline and may not even use the same set of actors for the most part.  I stopped reading it about 2 paragraphs in because it seemed like it was going to at least in some manner spoil the end of the 1st season.

I think they shot the first season over a period of like 4 years and nobody knew if they would actually ever finish it, so many have since gone off to other projects.  That was the gist of the article.

That cant be true can it?

I don't know about 4 years but shooting stopped and started multiple times with HBO stepping in at one point. I know I've read that they were originally in chronological order and spending a fortune. Like scene 1 in the saloon was shot and then much much much later the saloon scene in episode 8 was shot instead of just knocking those out together.
