Yes.And speaking of trades, 1900 is available.is this 23.14 that used to belong to Frosty?2006 pick = papelbon if he's still there![]()
BUMP as this was toward the bottom of the page.Anyone need a lefty reliever? Al Holland is available for a draft pick.
It's round 23: where confusion and apathy happenI can only speak for myself, but the format of this draft lends itself to confusion and apathy. When picks are being made in advance and a glance at the current page shows picks over a 20 pick range, it makes it really difficult to follow and stay on top ofHalf the time determining who is OTC is a bit of a challengeAlso, when you know there is little to no chance of being sniped, you tend to not pay as much attention to the draft itselfWhy should I care who someone on the other end of the draft is picking from a 2000 era season when I have an 1920s season 20 picks awayI think this draft has produced some interesting strategies and has been different than what we have done before, but I also think it has caused the above to happenJust my two cents
Well, that would have been nice to know before I sent you my predrafts for Rounds 24 and 25.To busy to track the clock and picks this morning![]()

Ok, to add to the confusion - I thought I had 1907 - here it says I was skipped and on the front page, it says that PIK/PSKOV picked then. I also know there were other 1907's nearby. I was just going to ask what you gave in trade to PIK for the 22.07 pick. I've been tracking as carefully as I can, and I missed that completely if PIK really had 22.07Ok, to add to the confusion - I thought I had 1907 - here it says I was skipped and on the front page, it says that PIK/PSKOV picked then. This was the post I took Pik/Pskov's 07 pick fromKoya, can you tell me the trade where you got this pick? Copying the post would be cool alsoPskov1420 said:21.18 - 1934 - Len Koenecke, OF

Searched the OP to see if any of the above have been taken, but it doesn't list the more recent picks so I may have accidentally taken someone who is already off the board, in which case I'll repick.

It was the deal where I sent Davey Johnson and 1950 for 1992 (Cal Eldred) and 1907.Assuming I am correct:This was the post I took Pik/Pskov's 07 pick fromKoya, can you tell me the trade where you got this pick? Copying the post would be cool alsoPskov1420 said:21.18 - 1934 - Len Koenecke, OF

There have been a ton of trades so far, no doubt I have missed some
PIK originally had 22.07 ... but I had that he traded it to Koya at some point. Sorry for the confusion, I did trade that 22.07 pick to Koya but forgot to mark it down on the spreadsheet I am tracking our picks on.It was the deal where I sent Davey Johnson and 1950 for 1992 (Cal Eldred) and 1907.Assuming I am correct:This was the post I took Pik/Pskov's 07 pick fromKoya, can you tell me the trade where you got this pick? 22.07 Carl Lundgren P 1907 - Mop Up guy (unless his 4 walks a game somehow is manageable, then he could rule. Which he wont).
BumpAlso, Sammy has to repick at 23.06, because C Ed McFarland was previously taken at 18.09 by Koya (see OP where McFarland appears twice).
Sounds too complicated. I think the next big one should be a blind-bid auction with a fairly restrictive salary cap (say $150m).FUTURE SIM IDEA: Thought of a way to combine the strategy of "drafting by years" and the strategies present in our old-style straight drafts. No need for dice rolls, even.
Do a regular straight draft, but have each pick lock out not only a player (no clones), but also a year. Each pick would have to declare both year and player (important: can't change the year after the next drafter picks). After four rounds, the "chalkboard is erased" and every year is up for grabs again.
It's much less complicated than our current draft, actually. It's just like tracking clones -- if a player's picked, he's off the board. If a year's picked, it's off the board (for a while).Sounds too complicated.
