***OFFICIAL WIS XIV DRAFT THREAD*** (2 Viewers)

Just where are we with picks?
First page updated, we've got Dr. D about to fire 23.01. The only skip left from Round 22 is jfranco.
A 15-minute clock is difficult to enforce ... how's your availability today?
Good for now, but I'm not offended if you or anyone else jumps in with enforcement. Definitely don't feel you're stepping on my toes, we're all working this together..

23.4 - 3B Oliva, Jose

Righty pop is drying up.

...

If jfranco is an autoskip, then Brady is OTC unti :53 after.

In three sim games last night Butch Wynegar was 0-41 so maybe this will help.
Really wanted Wynegar about a round or two before you snagged him, but I was hung up on his offense. Having a full-time catcher helps with positional flexibility on your bench a ton, though. Still think he'll his acceptably in the sim games.

Moops Question:

He used Sergio Romo against me a few times last night. As I look, I don't see that he ever drafted him. Am I missing something? Will answer yours.

Yea. I think I tossed him in my lineup thinking I had drafted him, I haven't. And I dont think I will, so if you want him, go for it.

23.06- OF Jim Greengrass, 1952

More pinch-hitting power from the bench. Won out over others because he can serve as a CF defensive replacement.

What's the update or Harrrrrrrr, Tre? We may need those rankings today. Hope the poor kid is doing alright...

Does the house mind if I throw in my last two picks? Made them for the wrong squad

EDIT: Either that, or I can effect a trade of picks between my two squads :excited:

Just swap 'em between the squads if those are players you wanted for the other team. Make your next two picks for the Boug D team.ETA: Or throw them back, it works either way for me.

Gracias  Consider it a trade of picks for bookkeeping purposes.

I might have drafted Daric Barton instead of Fiore if he was available

Bad news related to that.During chow time, Harrr is often accosted for his desserts. Well, yesterday was lime jello day and Harrr loves his lime jello. He usually lets the bigger, stronger, more violent types just take his dessert - but not this time. This time Harr threw his tray like a Garland Braxton fastball at a rather large individual named Tom. The tray connected shattering his nose. This enraged Tom and he battered Harr within an inch of his life and even took a large bite of poor Harr's cheek. So, needless to say he won't be helping with rankings. Please send thoughts and prayers.

REDRAFT!!

It appears I have exactly 1500 innings. This will be odd since I really only have 4 relievers. Everybody else was either a part time starter or a full time starter for the only 10 games they pitched. Basically most of my pitching staff has a 5-6 inning per game average. I think I will have to micromanage things a bit.

You can use some of you starting guys as "emergency" long relief. What's tough about it, though, is that there might be times one of your starters goes in for a long relief stint, and then that same guy will have been slated to start the next game. Sometimes, that'll work out ... other times, you'll be starting a guy at, say, 98% efficiency.
