If it makes you feel any better, I'm completely ignoring the "# numbers" and I'm practically running away with this draft.Ok, so you are all cheaters. Those are log5 numbers. Basically a realistic projection for what the guy should produce based on the combination of their RL numbers and their + numbers.110 AVG+ and .300 AVG is not the same thing as 110 AVG+ and .330 AVG. The first guy would have an AVG# of .310 (guessing) and the second would be .340. So even though they are both 110 AVG+, the second guy is better. It's most noticeable in HR/9+. A guy with HR numbers of 0.12raw/98+ (Dutch Leonard) will give up about 50 less HRs than a guy with HR numbers of 0.90raw/98+. And the HR/9# of a guy like Leonard will be like 0.15, and the second guy will be like 0.85.What are the stats that end with #? Should I be using those rather than + numbers? And if so, you're all cheaters.

Not yet -- you, Kraft, and I have twDoes anyone have three? I think I have two but from the Pre Nerd Era™
I think I made one other WS and lost, not 100% sure thoughNot yet -- you, Kraft, and I have twDoes anyone have three? I think I have two but from the Pre Nerd Era™ne thing I'd like to get is all time playoff appearances and World Series runners up. This should be possible to research if anyone is a real e-mail packrat. WIS.com, at the end of each season, e-mails all league participants the playoff series results.
I have a bunch of these old e-mails, but not all of them, I don't think.
God Dammit!See a lot of mediocrity in the postions I need to fill. Hopefully this round will thin the hurd and make my choices easier in the 10th.

What the hell

Blame Kraft. I wanted Frank Thomas.
I got really nervous when Thomas was picked. Figured he and Mattingly were the two best left and was hoping to get one with my next pick. Apparently you guys were thinking the same thing.Blame Kraft. I wanted Frank Thomas.

I probably have all of the ones I played in, but I need to know a good username to search for so that Gmail will find them all for me.I believe I have lost both of the last 2 WS (2012 and alphabet) and in the one before that (2011) I won like 115 games and lost the first round of the playoffs. Not yet -- you, Kraft, and I have twDoes anyone have three? Hell yes. It doesn't care where he played in RL. Just goes by range. I usually consider anything B+ and above as "good enough" for a CF.A-/A+ means Kaline can play CF in the sim, right??
8.22 - Bubbles Hargrave, part of a Catcher - Redlegs
What took you so long, Indiana?Eugene Franklin Hargrave was nicknamed "Bubbles" because he stuttered when saying "B" sounds. In 1926, he won the National League batting title with a .353 average. The rules at the time required batting champions to play in at least 100 games, and Hargrave pinch hit several times to get to 105. He was the first catcher to lead the NL in batting average.
After his baseball days, Hargrave worked for a valve company. He died at age 76 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was inducted into the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame in 1962 and the Indiana Baseball Hall of Fame in 2005.
