*** OFFICIAL WIS XVI Draft Thread *** (3 Viewers)

Love Gwynn at 3rd.

His bat has been so disappointing to others that I'm going to draft him early AND play him out of position!
I didn't draft him to play him out of position.I drafted him 'cuz the Padres are awful and it got them out of the way and I was going to go with a Jackson/Gwynn/Williams outfield.

I like Gwynn at 3rd and Wynn in CF more than leaving Gwynn in CF and drafting a 3B that is out there still.

10.22 - Oscar Gamble, PH Rangers

:fro:

Unlike some players who failed to cope with the New York media, Oscar thrived on it, and was always a favorite with sportswriters. Gamble, whose hitting prowess was overshadowed by his famously large Afro hairdo, has the distinction of logging the last hit and RBI at Philadelphia's Connie Mack Stadium on October 1, 1970. His 10th-inning single scored Tim McCarver with the run that gave the Phillies the 2-1 win in the stadium's final game. Coincidentally, that feat was also overshadowed as unruly fans stormed the field during and after the game to claim bases, infield dirt, seats, and other various stadium items.

Make sure you grab the full season, not the partial that looks so much better. He was in my future plans.

"lunch drinking" was his response. He says he put in Dykstra.
Ok. That's one of his picks.F'n slacker. Please tell him to SEND ME MY MONEY as well. Gotta pay for this new chaise lounge with my winnings.
Hope it's not Dykstra who owes you money
Thank goodness, no. Chem X is a little more reliable than that.A LITTLE.

Ok, who up, clock status, let's see a little run before we shut down for three days. Who's around on Monday btw, or better yet, anyone not expect to be around?

You're assuming working on MLK Day is the default?I won't be around on that day -- my online availability plummets when I'm off work.
I think most people will be working... if there is even one who objects then I'd be fine with no clock. If everyone is ok with it and will have enough availability, then why not have the clock, that's all.So, if you for example can't really be around with an hour clock for a pick or two that day, then we don't have a clock.

Told you all, way too much coffee today. :excited: :boxing:
