There's a lot of guys I want, but I think my alternatives for this guy are the worst. So I'll pick him even though he might not be on anyone else's radar.

Poor guy was signed by the Cubs in 1907 when they were awesome, but then he got hurt and traded to the Braves, who sucked. The Braves finally shipped him back to the Cubs in 1914, and of course that was the year that the Miracle Braves team that won the World Series.
