I sent a PM to Grateful Zed with no response. Did Truck and Aaron team up? If so, Native can roll for a draft spot in case we don't hear from GZ. Otherwise Truck is first alternate.

 
Grateful Zed is out, he just PM'd me.

Truck is first alternate if he wants it. If not, Native is in.

Please let me know ASAP.

I will be out of the country on June 25th-July 1st

Will I be able to handle waivers before I leave? I am still not entirely sure how the waivers work.

 
Sunday night updates:

- still waiting on dice rolls from Fear the Turtle, Sebowski, and Boubucarow. I know I have Sebowski's number and I think I have Boub's number, so I will text them. If someone has Turtle's number, please message him. If 11 AM ET hits tomorrow and any of them have not rolled, they will be automatically placed at the end of the draft order. I will randomize if multiple of them have not rolled.

- if you have not yet paid (me included), please do so ASAP. I'd like to have everyone paid before the tournament starts.

- The draft will be 16 rounds to make everything even. Every team must have at least 2 GK, 5 DF, 5 MF, and 3 ST, and every team will have one flex field player. You cannot draft a flex GK (because otherwise someone would get stuck with a backup). Knockout stage rosters stay the same at 11 players. I will update post 2.

- THE DRAFT WILL BEGIN AT 11 AM ET TOMORROW. 1 HOUR CLOCK TO START. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT WE HAVE LIKE 10 DAYS TO GET THROUGH 16 ROUNDS. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SIGNIFICANTLY SHORTEN THE CLOCK AS WE PROGRESS. I HAVE DELAYED THE START UNTIL 11 AM TO MAKE SURE WEST COASTERS SEE THIS POST.

- We will officially be using Wikipedia as the official roster list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014_FIFA_World_Cup_squads

If this fails miserably, I apologize and we will use a non-open-source source for the 2016 Euros. I am trusting all of us to not engage in position-changing funny business. Honor code and such. If a player's position is edited mid-draft, we will default to the player's position when he was drafted. Ex: a player is drafted as a MF per Wikipedia, and then Wiki changes to striker. The player will be considered a MF for our purposes.
