- Bucs DE Da'Quan Bowers will undergo surgery Friday to repair an Achilles' tendon torn in the offseason program.

- Citing two sources, John Telich of Fox 8 Cleveland reports Browns DT Phil Taylor is undergoing an MRI for a possible torn pectoral muscle.

So does Rookie DT John Hughes step in for Taylor. Would he have similar upside if he does?

Phil Taylor does have a torn pec' and will have surgery next week. He may be able to play some this season, but I don't think they would be able to put him on PUP before the season starts because it was a non football related injury and NFL roster spots are so valuable. Not sure how long the recovery time is for this. Jene?
