OK, top 5 favorite Arcade Games (1 Viewer)

Black Tiger.I actually beat this game once. I want this game in a basement one day
Loved this game -- practiced it enough where I could find all the hidden items and beat it consistently on a single quarter. It would be fun to try this out 20 years later and see if I could remember anything. I wish they'd go back to making more games like this one. Ahh, the good old days. :oldfart:

I make it my goal to set the high score on every Ms. Pacman standup arcade game I encounter. Only the fast ones though, where I can get into my rhythm. :nerd:

Tetris

Battle Zone

Pacman Series

10 Yard Fight

Duck Hunt

Joust

Gauntlet

Track and Field

HydroThunder

Missile something

In no particular order...

Donkey Kong

Pac Man

Galaga

That game where you have to draw off sections of the screen before the little electrical sparks hit your unfinished line.

not sure what would be five, maybe Defender or Joust.

Dumped a lot of quarters in those machines in my youth.

No it wasn't Missile Command. It was a game where you had to draw boxes or rectangles until you filled up at least 75% of the screen. While you were drawing your lines, little sparks would begin trailing your lines and you only had so much time to finish before they would reach you. At the same time, there were these wavy figures that would fly around the screen. If they hit your unfinished line, you would lose a life. I can picture the screen in aqua and light brown colors, but I can't recall the name.

Yea, that's the one. Pretty boring in concept, but I liked that game.

In no order:

Ms Pac Man (high speed enabled)

Galaga

720

Star Wars (the old one where you had to fly down the trench)

Gauntlet

Best pinball game evar: Adams Family

Can't believe Defender / Star Gate isn't listed so far. (maybe I missed it) One of the best IMHO.

Let's see, if I HAD to choose 5 - no order:

Stargate/Defender

Star Castle (God, that rattled my nerves!)

Dig Dug

Bezerk ("Intruder alert! Intruder alert!")

Spy Hunter (uber cool)

These are probably my top five.

However, THE definitive top five listing would have to include Asteroids & Pac-Man the two that really kicked it off. :hifive:

What was that ninja game? Started with a K I thought. Had your guy running thru some trees and every once in a while a guy straight out of Big Trouble in Little China would jump out and whip ###....

*Honorable Mentions

Paperboy

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

Gauntlet

Xenophobia

Crossbow
Some good ones here...especially Crossbow and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.Mine were:

Double Dragon

Rampage

Street Fighter 1 & 2

Rolling Thunder

And this wrestling game I can't remember the name of for the life of me. (Lil' help?) Very basic, always clotheslines people off the ropes, early on you wrestled a guy in Super Fly Snuka cheetah outfit. I loved the pins: One...TWO...THREEEEEEEEEE!!!
