CAN KEEP 1 PLAYER FOR ONE YEAR AND GIVE UP HIS RD IN THIS YEARS DRAFT.

THESE ARE MY BEST THIS YEAR:

MICHAEL FLOYD (9TH RD)

MATT JONES (13TH RD)

ZACH MILLER (18TH RD)

WHO SHOULD I KEEP?

We need more info.  Who is on everyone else's team, who are they each likely to keep, what are their drafting tendencies, how long have you known them, and what's your favorite color.

Typical guppy.

Waaah, waaah, you cry, this game is too hard!

Sorry son, but I don't have to dumb down The Sport just so noobs like you have a chance at keeping up.

I play in a $4,000 entry, Super-WCOFF, triple-reverse, double down, mirror league with a modified PPFDR base 8 scoring system, and we just held our draft in July. For the 2013 season. You think Matt Barkley getting the start in USC is news? I drafted him after studying up on him, after he signed his letter of intent, last year. You think that maybe going with a WR in the first two rounds instead of back-to-back RBs is somehow new thinking in fantasy? Well, do you have the balls to do what I did this year when I didn't take my first RB until the fourth round (Roderick Smith, Harding High School of Indiana)? You've probably never even heard of Martavis Bryant, Kyle Prater, or Darius White, yet not only did I draft them this year to form my future WR core, I've also started referring to them by fantasy board nicknames (Super Mart, KPrater, & DoubleDarius). Hell, guys like you are going to be the poor schmucks who are searching this board five years from now for info on some great RB you just heard of out of the middle of nowhere in Alaska, and the FBG search result box is going to come up with this very post, where I brag about nabbing Isaiah Weeks of the Monroe Catholic Rams at the 25.32/26.01 turn a full two months before he lit up Delta Junction for 193 yards/2 TDs or Ketchikan for 183 rushing yards, 55 rec yards, & 2 TDs. You'll be wondering about his durability and I'll remember a phone call I made back when you were just hearing the name "Knowshon Moreno" for the first time to the kid's doctor in Fairbanks about the sprain he suffered in his left ankle in 2008.

Let me give you a tip, IT = INFO, and there's no "expires by" date on it.

can you post other teams roosters and league rules?  which site do you use for stats?  when is the draft?

You may have noticed a sensation similar to the way it feels when 100 vuvuzelas stop blaring in your ear. Do not be alarmed, there is a simple explanation for this:

timschocet is on vacation.

It may take a little time to get used to an increased signal to noise ratio in FFA posts. This is normal. Do not be alarmed.

Presumably, tim is enjoying a nice vacation and reading several interesting books by thoughtful authors. One would also surmise that he may be carefully crafting a list of new topics to start once he returns. We can always hope.

Perhaps this is on his reading list: www.amazon.com/Beyond-Rules-Writing-Clarity-Power/dp/156822625X/ref=sr_1_5

But let's not get our hopes up.

I misread the title....

is this a one keeper league or can you play in one, keeper league?  sorry in advance.  have you PM'd @shuke?

this is overkill....don't overthink it....keep your kicker, you always keep a good kicker

You drafted really poorly last year, maybe you should get someone else to do that part.

You guys are jerks! Craig here is asking for help, yet has not received one reply here that will help him decide who to keep.

Craig, while I don't have any advice, I wish you the best of luck and hope it works out for you

Please keep us updated on your decision.

The earliest you drafted a played that you're considering for your keeper was drafted in Round 9?  Who did you draft in rounds 1 through 8?

You could have at least told him to short UCO

I think the VBD indicates marginal valuation based on a random weighted system.  i.e. Drafting phenomena like the wavefunction collapse are considered 'purely random'. I must add; however, that the round measurement can be set up in such a way, that there are (strong) statistical correlations established, for instance in the case of commuting observables. However, we can't predict what will be measured in case of player collapse. Now, I wonder whether the fact that the measured value cannot be predicted is reason enough to call it "random", or if there are other prerequisites to do so. That we can't predict something only says something about its predictability, not about its properties, right? If we can establish that player collapse is random, we have to base that on the propery of being statistical in its nature, right?

Those are all horrible. I could poop a better roster.
